Smoke Over Fire BBQ this week

We will have no public setups this week. But we do have seven private events. So the Christmas Celebrations keep going.

Our next public setups is on Dec 22nd at the Santa Truck Event.

Night two of the Christmas Celebrations and another sell out!! We were a little unsure about tonight since we were stuck in the back as far away from the action as we could get. We had a fantastic week setting with our fellow business owners in Mt Washington. Thank you Eric () and Kieth (Spalding Mattress Plus) for allowing us to set up. It's always great to support folks in your hometown. And we got to see some of our Mt Washington friends. And one left us a fantastic review. Thanks Michael!! It's been a great day for Smoke Over Fire BBQ. After coming home from the firehouse this morning we got to eat breakfast with Justin, Leslee and the grandkids. Then we got to drop off food to help our granddaughters with the Scouting for Food project. Then we came home to cook for Brian Mitchell's Army Retirement party. We are very honored to be asked to cook for the party. Brian and Angie have been customers for many years and we appreciate their support. And we want to Thank Brian for his many years of service to our country! Thank You For Your Service!!

I had intended for this post to be a thank you note. I just did not think it was going to be this big. Let me explain. First I want to thank Wesbanco for allowing us to set up in their parking lot. We have had a long working relationship with those fine folks for years. And I am very thankful for all of their support. Second I want to thank all of the folks that come and see us at Shepherdsville. You are absolutely amazing. We had our best year ever for our lunch set up in Shepherdsville. And you are the reason. We can not thank you enough for your support. And this is where it gets a little longer than I had anticipated it being. I also want to thank LGC Electric and 44 Roofing for there unbelievable quick response to a little disaster we had at the house this morning. While in the middle of getting things ready to go to Shepherdsville a dump truck that was dropping off something at the house tore all of the lines off of our house. I quickly made a few phone call to Billy Lucas (LGC) and Joey Hern (44 Roofing) and within minutes they were working to get things back to normal. Teams arrived onsite before I even made it to Shepherdsville to open for lunch. I can not thank them enough for there hard work and fast response. They were the only reason we were able to set up in Shepherdsville today. Along with Tracy holding down the fort while I was in Shepherdsville. She is always my lifesaver. You just never know what the day is going to throw your way. One step at a time, just keep pushing forward!!

Back to my lifesaver. She reminded me to thank RECC. They were here in minutes to get the downed wires secured.

A big thanks to everyone involved!!
