We use open decks as a selection process to invite DJs to play on Thursday nights and other events held at the biggest club in Downtown Albuquerque, Effex! Bring your flash drives and headphones gear will be provided. You will be using a Pioneer DJ XDJ-RX2.

Open decks is also a judgment free place where all DJs can come and learn from each other. It’s an open format and we don’t discriminate against gender or genre.

RULES:

1. Signs ups will begin at 7:45pm and your name will be drawn for your place on the lineup. First DJ is up at 8pm.
2. Unlimited entries will be allowed but only 12 spots will be available. 20 min sets. 1 entry per DJ
3. Sign up cut off time will be 9pm
4. MUST BE PRESENT TO SIGN UP!
5. Next DJ will be drawn 5 minutes before set and will be posted on discord and FB events page. If not present, next name will be drawn.
6. Although open decks is an open format, please be considerate of the event that is being promoted and if trying out for said event please consider the genre.
7. Have fun!
