Forensic analysts with the UNTCHI have determined that the human remains found inside a City Wastewater Lift Station last month is most likely Caleb Harris.

The 37 South sign and the 181 North sign need to switch places. This does not accurately layout the lanes ahead. I’ve been seeing last second lane changes here. It’s a hazard. Seems like an easy fix. I hope it can be done soon!

I have to say thanks to The City of Corpus Christi for answering my mom’s message and putting up signs like this one. After seeing dead ducks on the road a few times my mom asked for a duck crossing sign. Thanks to her for looking out for the ducks. 🙂 The next time you drive on this part of Yorktown and you see this sign, please watch out for ducks.

Corpus Christi Police announced the death of Senior Officer Vicente Ortiz on Saturday morning. Ortiz was hit May 21 while on his police motorcycle.

Mr. Morales was Ill Nino/Shattered Sun singer Marcos Leal’s father in law. He was a big supporter of the band and of the local muisc scene. Every time I saw Mr. Morales at a show or event he always had a smile and a handshake for me, and sometimes a beer too. Tomorrow night’s show is a memorial for him. I hope to see you there. 🤘🏻
