Wealth Whiz Singapore Hello! We are a small team of people organizing Financial Board Games to help people learn basics of finances through fun and games. I know, it’s not this :D.

Subsequently we facilitate Financial Workshops for people who want to learn how to apply what they learned to real life We are a small group of people that met playing financial board games and became friends. After many Cashflow 101 games we wanted to take it up a notch, and also play more games, so we decided to form our own group. But since we are a community of traders, investors, network mark

eters, business owners and macroeconomics hobbyists we figured that introducing people to what can be done in real life, how to apply the knowledge from board games, is something we want to do. So Money Matters Singapore was born. After adding more features and consolidating our groups we incorporated and consolidated everything into Wealth Whiz Singapore, as we are looking to help Singaporeans navigate the local financial scene. Having to think about finances and implementing financial decisions are tough, but it’s necessary. Especially when it comes to building a cushiony retirement nest against high inflation in the current landscape. That’s where we come in. We will be holding the following events:

Financial Board Games: The financial board games we pick for our events are simulations of life situations. We facilitate weekly financial board games that are educational, engaging and fun! There will be no selling or soliciting during these events. Financial Workshops: We team up with various finance professionals to promote various educational workshops to broaden the knowledge of every Singaporean.

We added a new game to our Financial Board Games - Rut2Riches! The first facilitated game will be on 4 June. Feel free to register on https://wealth-whiz.com/games/

The game’s objectives are simple: retire early and then create wealth.

This game is similar in concept to Cashflow 202 but has more options and significantly more calculations. We recommend coming to a facilitated game first to learn all the rules and get some practice with all the calculations.

As an education tool, the Rut to Riches board game teaches players to:
- Understand basic accounting principles, running a cash statement, profit and loss, and balance sheet
- Make acquisitions and investment decisions based on future capital gains and passive income
- Control debt, reduce liabilities and reduce interest costs
- Appreciate the financial requirements for retiring comfortably and to understand the difference between earned (active) income and investment/business (passive) income
- Seek quality professional advice for business and investment
- Realise that regardless of their starting salaries or financial position, they can achieve financial independence by exercising good judgment
- Learn from mistakes, including those made by other players
