Take a walk with me through Natalie & Antony's wedding ceremony ✨️
There were moments of total hysterics. Moments of tender glances, followed by even more laughter before Natalie & Antony came over all regal and took to their thrones to hear their love story. Then came the surprises when parts of that story had been kept a secret from Natalie and she found out information she never knew before about Antony!! Loved it!!
Then it was back to more meaningful looks filled with emotion during the exchanging of rings and promises which ultimately led to that totally euphoric feeling when the full realisation hits you of the epic commitment you have just made to one another.
Time to head out of this stunning chapel before continuing the party! Or actually should I say to watch England in the Euros final!!! Well if you can't beat em, join em!! What a bride!!!! 🧡✨️🧡✨️🧡

What can I say about this shoot that the photos don't?? Nothing really!!
Looking for an alternative totally cool venue to have your wedding in??? This is it!!!!
The wedding licence for Brewdog Hull is currently in process which is great news, but lets face it, if you're a couple looking at an incredible alternative venue like this, you're NOT going to want a templated registrar wedding anyway are you!! (Bigging up the Celebrants!!!🥳) But it's always good to give couples the choice isn't it, so hopefully it won't be too long till the licence is through.
In my opinion don't hang around before enquiring here, because it really is epic, along with every supplier that brought this shoot to life!! Can't tell you how long it took me to pick only 10 photos for this post!!!

✨️Destination Elopement ✨️
Just the happy couple, their 2 children, myself and the photographer. Oh and my daughter acting as a gentle bodyguard asking tourists if they minded stepping away until the poignant ceremony was over!
The weather was like a summers day in the UK! Glorious sun to begin with followed by heavy cloud, followed by rain all happening during the 40 minute ceremony finishing back with the moody clouds again for the beach walk! We didn't even notice though because this ceremony was so intimate and romantic with a family hand tying taking place right at the end so Ben & Kimberley could walk away bound together. Truly beautiful🧡✨️🧡✨️🧡
Oh we also loved the random doggo that rocked up to play ball on the beach with us🤩 🐕🏀

Today is the first ever FUNERAL CELEBRANT DAY!💜 We all celebrate a happy couple at a wedding, but I also believe we should celebrate the life of someone when they die. Being a funeral celebrant can sometimes be tough, but it's also a very rewarding job when you know you've helped grieving relatives and friends remember their loved one in a way that truly reflects them.
But did you know that in the same way you can choose a celebrant you gel with for your wedding, you can also do the same for a celebration of life. You absolutely do not have to go with the one the funeral director gives you. You can book us directly or tell the funeral director that you'd like to find your own. They will be more than happy to honour your choice.
Here's another fact...
Did you know that you can hold a funeral anywhere (subject to permission of course) So if your loved one had a favourite pub or piece of woodland or you'd rather hold a service in your local village hall, you can! This makes it even more personal, and there'll be less time restrictions there too.
You might decide to opt for direct cremation and hold a wonderful memorial service a few months later in your garden when emotions aren't so raw.
Whatever questions you have, a well trained funeral celebrant can help you , so just ask away and don't think the only option is going down the traditional route, because it definitely isn't! If they liked to party in life, give them a party at the end of their life!

After getting to know us, Tracy suggested a ‘ring-warming’ ceremony, which is where our wedding rings would be passed from guest to guest to fill with good wishes and positive intentions for our future together. We adored this idea, and it was a beautiful way to include all of our guests in the ceremony.

She kept us updated with her progress, shared her bespoke drafts for feedback, and even enlisted her husband’s help to look over the Portuguese section of my vows. ✨️Day 3 of World Celebrants Week✨️
What are my favourite bits?!
Woaah well that's a tough one because there's just so much to choose from!! So basically it's EVERYTHING!! (apart from when my printer starts playing up when I'm about to print you ceremony or vow books!!! Then you see a very different side of Tracy🙈🤣🤣🤣)
Seriously though the best bits...
1) Getting that call or email to say you want to book me...that results in a happy dance every time!!🕺💃🕺
2) Besides getting to know you both through messages and meetings, I absolutely LOVE when I sit down to read all the answers you've written on your questionnaires. Oh they take me on such a journey! I'm bursting out laughing one minute, and then the next, literally crying at all the beautifully thoughtful things you both do for each other! That's when I really get excited to start writing your ceremony😍
3) The bit when I get whatsapp saying you love what I've written🎉🎉🎉 That's always such a relief because I can't tell you how nervous I get when I press send to wizz the the draft copy over🙈😝
4) The big day!!! Nothing beats this!!
✨️Popping to see you both before the ceremony to check that you're as excited as me for what is about to happen!!!
✨️Those gorgeous little moments during the ceremony that I talked about in yesterday's post.
✨️Watching the love and emotion flowing between you, as well as all of your guests that are totally caught up in the feeling too.
✨️The stolen glances, the raucous laughter, and the contagious euphoria as everyone claps and cheers at the end of the ceremony and the beginning of you new life together! You'll always find me well out shot whooping and cheering along with everyone else!!!
5) This is a very special one... The notification that comes from Google to say someone has taken the time to leave me a review. Wow! Grateful doesn't even cut it🤗 So a huge THANK YOU to every couple or family that has done that for me. I appreciate you massively 🧡✨️🧡✨️🧡
That's just 5 things, but honestly I could go on and on!! I think you get the picture that I bloody love my job!!!!

Day 2 Reasons To Book a Celebrant for your ceremony or commemoration.
Well I'm going to do this backwards! Reasons NOT to book a celebrant
1) You really dont think the ceremony is a very important part of your day, and you don't care if you have the same script as everyone else!!!
2) Er, that's it really!!!
If number 1 DOESN'T apply, then BOOK A CELEBRANT!!! Simple as that! Just like Teasha & Hugo did for their beautiful wedding in June🤗
Making that genuine connection means that we can have these lovely little moments during your ceremony just like we did in theirs. And knowing that your ceremony is going to be completely different from everyone else's because it's totally about your fabulous love story, makes it even more special. So go and find a celebrant that suits your vision for your wedding day dream, and give them a call!!🧡✨️🧡✨️🧡

✨️Woohoo it's World Celebrants Week!!! Time to celebrate all things celebrant!! So here we are Day 1! Introduce Yourself! ✨️
Hello hello hello!! I'm Tracy, someone who writes for a living but is really crap at writing and posting regularly on social media!! 🙈😜 I know that doesn't make sense but honestly I can sit for hours wondering what to post and instead end up scrolling through every cute animal and bird account there possibly is instead!! .boy.ollie is my favourite in case you're wondering! I'm so much more focused when I sit down to write a ceremony because I absolutely LOVE doing that!!
I've been an independent celebrant for 4 years although I only did my first in person ceremony 3 years ago because of you know what! I say "in person" because my first actual ceremony was conducted over zoom in my living room!! (See the last pic) but it was still so beautiful 🩷
So what's changed in my life since posting for World Celebrants Week this time last year???...

What do you get when a strapping Yorkshire roofer and his beautiful fiance both with zero dance experience, ask me to choreograph a first dance that will cause all their guests jaws to drop??? After extensive work and consultation, the Law Commission submitted it final recommendations to the Government in July 2022. In this document, they propose moving to an ‘officiant-based scheme’, whereby the person conducting the wedding would be authorised, rather then the venue in which the wedding takes place.
Within this new scheme, many other changes are proposed in order to make the marriage process fairer and simpler, as well as allowing couples more choice over the content, form and location of their ceremonies 🌿
The Government was due to issue an interim response to these proposals by January 2023, but we have still not had this. We hope this question and subsequent meetings will help to move things along 🙏

Hi! I’m Tracy, born and raised in Hull, but a wild adventurer at heart, having traveled the world as a professional performer. The chances are that if you are on my page and now reading this, that you are a little like me, always on the lookout for something more meaningful and different.
You don’t want the same wedding as everyone else with a regimented ceremony. You want to celebrate your individuality as a couple, and want a personalised ceremony that is all about your unique love story but, is also inclusive of family and children too. You might love the idea of including a mini ceremony of handfasting (tying the knot) sand blending, crystals, smudging, unity candles or jumping the broom!! Get everyone involved in the decorating of the broom, then on the big day, hitch up your dress or trouser legs and jump over it, symbolising the leap from your past life as two single individuals, into your future as partners for life. (Great photo opportunity too!!)
For you, the ceremony is equally important as the party afterwards, (although who doesn’t love a good party!!) No matter how big your wedding, you still want an intimacy, that can only be given by someone who has really got to know you both through the writing of your ceremony, not just someone who turns up and meets you on the day!
Want your wedding outdoors or at an unlicensed venue? No problem! Because you take care of the legal admin separately, you have no rules and restrictions for the big day.
Your completely bespoke ceremony will take you all on a beautiful journey full of wonderful emotions with lots of laughter always guaranteed.
