The John Patrick Martin All-Star Series of Northeast Historical Base Ball returns to Muzzy Field in Bristol, CT this Sunday, September 20th.

The series will feature a Tripleheader of base ball in the style of 1864 beginning at 10am.
Teams “Daniel” & “Lucius” signify Daniel Lucius “Doc” Adams of Mont Vernon NH. Adams is nominated to Major League Baseball’s Hall of Fame (pre-integration era) to be voted upon in 2021. This second ballot appearance for Adams comes on the heels of the original “Laws of Baseball” (1857) document being recovered. Adams articulated key points fundamental to the game of baseball.

At 9:40am (Front of Building Outside Main Entrance) the Ed Elmore Lifetime Achievement Award for Excellence in Baseball Studies will be presented to Dr. Brian Travers of the Providence Grays.
