I have been tasked with the impossible, playing a Skrillex cover set. How does one pay homage to the G.O.A.T of electronic dance music?? Well, you can find out for yourselves this weekend as I take on the challenge and spin one hour of old & new skrillex tracks 🫡

I’m also doing double duties on the night as I’m playing under my alias - spinning everything house & UKG.

Very excited to be hoping on support duties for next Saturday at
I'll be bringing with me as well to add some fuel to the fire for what will undoubtedly be a heavy rolling set, so if you haven't got your tickets yet, I'd recommend getting onto that asap, link will be in bio!

This Saturday I’m very fortunate to be playing alongside IMANU for his first NZ Tour!

Constantly looking at how diverse Imanu is with his sound, he’s a certain type of artist where you never quite know what he’s going to make next, from DnB to house and everything in between Imanu is someone who I’ve always admired and have the utmost respect for 🤝🏼

Gid’day everyone - here to give the people who are interested in where & what I’m playing playing at an update, so here’s the weekly forecast:

Friday: You can catch me on the decks b2b with Maurice (aka Sensei) directly after the Pirapus boys from 1-2 down at hotspot Pointers. This is my first gig back down there and I’m super excited to be spinning some of my favourite new & old tracks again!

Saturday: Particle has his Auckland show at infamous nightclub/ venue, Neck of the Woods! You can catch me on after Poris from 2:30 with some dark minimal vibes and a sprinkling of Jungle!

Hope to see many of you there this coming weekend

My latest mix has just dropped. Here's a little blurb to sum up what its all about.

CELLIERS Presents: Pushing The Narrative is a mix all about pushing the sound that I've quickly begun to bass a lot of my DJ Sets around (that sound being mainly Jump Up) - While this mix isn't strictly Jump Up, the main portions of this mix contain music from artists who I've really been loving over the past 6-12 months, some of those artists are, Amplify DNB, Sota, Metalwork, Hedex, Master Error, Upgrade Music, Gino and many more. This mix may not me everyone's cup of tea but if you enjoy your fast paced heavy Drum & bass, this ones for you.

Background of CELLFAM

Grant (CELLFAM) didn’t start life out as a Drum & Bass DJ rather being brought up with the sounds of Trap and Dubstep favoring the heavier 150bpm 808’s to the 174 snares! Grant’s transition over to Drum & Bass came early in 2019 when he was introduced to fellow DnB head ‘Cheff’ (Tait) who was a mutual friend through the scene. A quick trip to the UK to see Andy C, Chase & Status, Wilkinson, Dimension, Upgrade and many others at world renowned festival ‘Creamfields’ was all it took for Grant to quickly fall in love with the sounds of Drum & Bass! Coming back to New Zealand, Grant quickly began to grow his knowledge of the new music genre he was quickly becoming engulfed in and eventually set about moving over to become a full blown Drum & Bass DJ – Grant has already had some success playing on some non-related DnB gigs, such as the likes of Closing for Slumberjack at Studio The Venue in Auckland, Festival X (Sydney) & Freaks Out East. His newly acquainted drum & bass gigs have come in the form of Synergy Events debut, Melt, The Drum Up, Warhorns! most of which have been a Pointers Bar in Auckland. Having just released his poster of upcoming gigs for the rest of 2020 you can see CELLFAM has been, and continues to be a busy man! Grant, brings a very high energy to his performances and tends to lean towards the Jump Up & Dancefloor side of the spectrum with his tune selection, however, also loves a HORRRRNNNN and this is what makes CELLFAM'S sets so unique.. you never know quite what you’re in for!!
