APRIL is a big month for this small biz! I'm traveling to Amsterdam to the see the tulips with my mum, from there I head to Belgium to see Emily for a week 🌷 🌷 🌷
When I get home, it's straight into Daffy Installs and our very exciting workshop with right here on Nantucket.
Shortly after, it's back to the mainland to be with the for more community, connection, and Sue's workshop and then...
2024 ART IN BLOOM.
This winter I spent reading, writing, doing yoga, learning new skills, and embracing all the things I don't have time for in the high season. Travel is how I fill my cup and I cannot tell you how LONG it's been since I've seen a month like this. I'm so grateful for the balance, and I'm excited to spend a month completely immersed in my job and it's beauty. Follow along for all the flower pics while I'm abroad!
Since the article came out, I've received so many emails from people all over New England. I'm so humbled by every single one of them. Truly. I didn't start planning to be in a magazine, or in a museum, or on TV... those are just products of the blood, sweat and tears that went into building the business. The business I'm still working on every day! I want this article to HELP people. At my core, that's who I am. I hope it serves as a reminder that you're only limited by the thoughts in your mind. As a young adult I struggled with that notion, but a women nearing 40 (not for a few years, but still!!)... I can tell you from experience it's the gosh darn truth. Buy the flowers and let them teach you the truth about this life - it's fleeting.
Thank you for capturing these images, and thank you to my friends at for allowing me to use your storefront as my floral canvas year after year 💛
We're so honored to be a featured designer at the 2024 Art in Bloom. The exhibition will take place April 26th - April 28th. will be designing a large scale installation in the Sharf Visitor Center. Our theme is... "You're A Work of Art", and that's all we will tell you for now!!
The large scale installs around the museum designed by myself and other local floral designers (tap to see who else will be there!) will accompany the beautiful interpretive floral arrangements of 45 artworks.
We've been working with to select the best, most beautiful blooms for the occasion. We hope to see you there!!
I recently shared a post on about Color Psychology. As designers, color is one of the most powerful tools we can wield. Our color stories have the ability to make our clients FEEL something, but did you know that our brains perception of color is the reason for that? Linking some articles in my stories if you're a nerd like me and want to learn more. What are some of your favorite color stories this season??
We have SO much to look forward to this Spring. We're announcing something very exciting next month - another workshop. Maybe you've heard of it?? We can't wait to share the details!
This spring arbor was group installation demo by our lovely friend 💛 worked on by Sue, the students, and

S I X years of saying it with flowers 🎂🌸 Each year of Hafsa and Co. that passes I remain even more in awe than the last. It’s entirely possible to design the life you dream for yourself, not easy, but possible.
To our incredible clients, thank you for you choosing us. We always do whatever it takes for that “perfect” final product, but having your full faith and trust in the process is the best gift any business owner could ask for. We wouldn’t be able to do what we do without YOU.
I imagine the next six years to be even more epic than the last six, and they’ve been pretty damn incredible so that’s saying something. Cheers to chasing big dreams, working our tails off and changing the world one flower at a time ✨🌸

Happy Friday, friends!! I’m overjoyed by all the positive comments I received after sharing our upcoming workshop with on April 17/18th.
Photography is, and has been a passion of mine from a young age but I only recently started to learn to shoot manual over the last several years. Honestly, I wanted to take better photos of flowers / my work and I’m surrounded by friends here who’ve very patiently taught and guided me (looking at you 🤍).
I met Corbin last year in Oaxaca at we were both geeking out over the light that cast on this wall and I asked her to snap a photo of me on my phone. It was only when I went to tag her for photo cred that I realized who she was. A simple picture became the catalyst for this workshop.
My focus in 2024 is sharing things with my community that matters, outside of the work we do in the busy season, and hosting educational opportunities here at home is a big part of that. I think it’s important to have varying perspectives as a creative. It helps broaden your mind, and strengthen your creative muscle. Photography helps me with my floral design, and vice versa. In my opinion, the best investment you can make is investing in yourself, and I believe if you want to be better, learn from the best. Corbin, and Semia are the BEST at what they do and I’m SO excited to share that will all of you.

Good morning my beautiful flower community! Hafsa here 👋🏽 founder of H&Co. If you’re new to this page, welcome! Thank you so much for following along.
I live on an island in the middle of the ocean off the coast of Massachusetts called, Nantucket. I started my biz in 2018 after a sudden, unexpected divorce. In the years of healing that ensued I’ve since learned an unwavering truth… flowers are therapy. I spent my undergrad and graduate studies learning Psychology - studying the human mind and its functions. It’s one of my greatest passions to this day. Having that context and education continuously drives me to find unique ways to help others through flowers, the way they helped me. I don’t stay in that place of grief anymore, I did for a long time but flowers taught me an invaluable lesson. Our time is fleeting, and nothing stays the same. We rise, we bloom, we fade, we repeat.
I’ve spent the greater part of this month thinking about what I want to share here with you all. Why it matters, what’s important, how to use this outlet I’ve created to continue to help others along side sharing the work I do in my busy season. One way I know how to do that is through connection, community and education. Being on Nantucket is remote and access to education (flower education and otherwise) means seeking it out. In 2024 I’m bringing it to the island in multiple forms, I’ll share it all here with you because I believe in the Psychology of flowers.
My gratitude to those of you who’ve been here with me since day one has no bounds and knows no limits. I have no words to articulate what it means to me. I’m an open book, ask me anything, tell me what you want to know, see, share in this season of H&Co. It matters and I’m listening.
With love and flowers always… happy Monday.

A few times a year I design flowers for my community on special occasions. Valentines Day is one of my favorite occasions to do so 🌹 I think about this day so differently now, I don’t look at it as a Hallmark holiday, or something to feel bad about if you’re single or if you’re going through something challenging.
For me it’s become a reminder that love in every form should be celebrated. If you feel like sharing flowers with someone you love (even if its just for you) on 2/14 pre-order through my website 💖

🚨 FLORA ON NANTUCKET IS BACK!!🚨
April 16th - 18th, 2024 the gang is getting back together to bring you the ultimate floral experience. Join us for three days on Nantucket for FLORA. Sue, Semia and Gilberto are thought leaders, innovators and experts in the floral industry. We've packed in three days of hands-on education, connecting through flowers and learning so much along the way. We can't wait to meet you!
A couple years back around this time, my dog decided to chase a deer with his pal, Eloise. They didn't return for two days. Worst 48 hours EVER. It felt like the entire island of Nantucket was out searching for these two, in the end we were reunited. As a way to express my gratitude to everyone who went out searching for Dutch and Eloise, I flower flashed this small building at the spot they ran away. I left it up for a week for islanders to enjoy. I still see those photos pop up on my feed from time to time, and it's as heartwarming now as it was then.

I get asked all the time, "what's your favorite flower". My response? I love them all equally, but I love each of them differently. My Dad tells my sisters and I this, and it makes a lot of sense! . Each flower has it's own sense of style, its own personality. Blooms I'm loving right now nerine lilies, eremurus and anemone. Each one delicate and special in their own way. What's your favorite flower? . #floristsofinstagram #favoriteflower #floraldesign #flowerfeed #flowerdiary
Volume UP friends… 🌸🙏🏽 . I've spent the last four years "using flowers to help businesses stand out". That has been our tagline from day one. I've recently been wrestling with the traditional mentality that this island should look a certain way, because well... it's Nantucket. I respect keeping the integrity of this island I call home, but I also believe that flowers are not an issue to contend with. Post-pandemic, I'm hearing (and seeing) that we ALL need flowers (all types: silk, fresh, dried, preserved) more than ever. . I will keep fighting for flowers because it matters. I will keep speaking up for my clients and their small businesses that have SURVIVED through a pandemic, because it matters. I will keep fighting for my livelihood, because it matters. 💪🏽🌷 . In this video I've tried to capture every single one of the businesses I've worked with here on the island in the last four years. It speaks to the majority out there who use this medium to spread joy and tell their stories. I'm honored to be at the helm of that initiative, I don't take that responsibility lightly. . I'm looking forward to an outcome that allows our businesses to share their stories through ALL types of flowers. I respectfully thank every single of my clients, institutions and landlords who've allowed me to do so. I have bright hopes for the future of flowers on this island. . Socrates once said, "The secret of CHANGE is to focus all of your energy not on fighting the old, but on building the new". . #Nantucket #NantucketIsland #NantucketFlorist #FLOWERADVOCATE #supportsmallbusiness
