Tutors available for Fiddle, Accordion (Button & Piano), Banjo, Bodhran Tinwhistle, Drums, Flute, Mandolin, Piano & Concertina.

It's heartwarming to see people bringing younger siblings to the sessions. It introduces the children to the tunes at a young age, and they all react the same, becoming entranced by the music and dancing 🎶. When they are a bit older, Roslea Comhaltas can get them started on their own musical journey with a tin whistle to begin😊

A massive thank you to everyone who turned up to perform at our slow paced session. Thank you to those who came to support and listen to the performers, it nice they had an audience. We were delighted to see so many new faces, some from quite a distance away and quite a few were on their 2nd session of the day!!!!

Make sure to tell anyone not on social media, especially members of the older generation. It is a great opportunity for socially isolated people to get out and meet others . Encourage the younger generation to learn the dancing that their grandparents and great grandparents all done, to step into the shoes of their ancestors 👞

You were fantastic Marita and put everyone at ease. We can budge up and squeeze another few in next week, so get to the heritage centre before 8pm to get a seat🎶

Thank you so much to all the adults and children who attended our slow paced session this evening!! It was just magical to see so many new faces and so much talent! It is achieving the intended purpose, to give children and adults the opportunity to sing or play tunes they like, at their speed and have everyone join in! Big THANK YOU to Shauneen Maguire who led the session and made it so relaxed and enjoyable. Keep an eye on our page for the next one in 2025!!!
