Sprouts

Sprouts Sprouts grew out of my love for flowers. My Mom's favorite place was in her "secret garden" and my Dad grew everything from seed and taught me.

Sprouts is a mobile flower truck business aiming to bring local and homegrown fresh flowers and adorable succulents to the Tri-State area. Think food truck but for flowers! Isabel, our vintage 1957 VW pickup truck, is currently in the shop and slowly coming to life. We're hoping to be up and running by mid-spring. Now taking orders! If you have an flower needs, don't hesitate to reach out on our F

We had a fun day helping to appreciate the staff at a local animal hospital. We always enjoy meeting people who work hard and are being appreciated. I had some subscription bouquets to deliver ( a great gift by the way) and we headed home. My husband and I since I’ve known him have played this game of who gets home first if there are 2 ways to get there. Well guess what Clementine loves the highway and really moves out. She beat me. I know, immature but we still do it. Gearing up for a 100 person employee appreciation day tomorrow and then yay my daughter comes to visit for a bit!!!! I’m off to count stems.

Life on the farm. We’re doing some barn renovations…. Nothing big deal but found a squirrel nest with babies, a pigeon nest with two sweet babies, a barn swallow nest with babies and unfortunately a huge beehive. Stay tuned.

Working on my notes for a terrarium workshop next week. Terrariums are fascinating- they are like mini rain forests in a glass vessel. If taken care of properly they can last for years! Anybody spot the mini terrarium within the terrarium? My dad who I lost at a young age always had a passion to learn something new. He would have loved the internet. I have had so much fun researching this topic. Thinking of you dad.❤️

Feeling a little overwhelmed today. So my cure to feeling less that way is to put soothing music on and just start creating. I have so many dried flowers that I haven’t used and wanted to make some fun things for the market. So here you go! We have lots of flowers to cut in our gardens so they will all be on the truck tomorrow. Come say hi and have a chat. Great music tomorrow. Hope to see you!

Rehearsal dinner flowers delivered to for a sweet friend’s daughter who gets married today. This restaurant has such a fun rustic vibe with great food! The color palette was dreamy. I snapped a few other pictures of our garden. Maisie found a shady spot in a corner raised bed. That’s the only place the pups are allowed to hop in and dig. Have a great weekend! Come say hi to Isabel Sunday .

How is everyone handling this oppressive heat? It’s the humidity that is so draining. I decided to play with some left over flowers from last weekend. All the flowers you see in the photos are grown on our farm. We decided to plant more of what has worked in the past instead of overly experimenting. We have a rehearsal dinner to flower and a bridal shower along with the this weekend. Let’s hope for cooler days! The cows have the right idea. Thanks for the cow photos Alexa!

Hey so this post is for my guy. He is a wonderful husband, father and loyal friend to all. He was gone for just one night and I missed him so. When the kids were little he commuted for many years to New York and was a great dad even when he was exhausted after a long week. We are now happily exhausted together on our farm. He drives our trucks, gets up early to help me make bouquets, cuts all the fields, builds raised beds and plants a lot of flowers. I love you so and appreciate you. Oh and he has his own business . We’ll see you tomorrow July bash! No hashtags just grateful 😀

We had such a nice weekend. Hope you did too! The first picture is a favorite! was so fun and we loved the baby goats running around. Thank you to all who purchased flowers from me. I’m thinking of having a yoga and flowers event at our farm. Picture yoga at dusk, then wander around the secret garden and flower beds to pick your own bundle of flowers to take home. Wine and nibbles in the Victorian style greenhouse. Oh and say hello to the cows and Oakley the sweet horse. Gemma a favorite yoga teacher is coming over this week to look at the farm. Keep cool!!
