Wow! What a great day. We had our first workshop in the newly renovated barn space and it was just so fun, a little chilly but we managed. ladies learned about floral design and created beautiful arrangements in a compote vessel. I’m looking forward to many more workshops and if you are looking for a space to gather for a workshop of your own please get in touch!

We are really excited to be teaching a terrarium workshop this Thursday. We’ve been nurturing and gathering terrarium plants for a month now. We have a really old pump house covered in luscious moss just perfect for a terrarium. Secured in a hydration chamber it will be ready to be used to create beautiful terrariums. My husband is a trooper to harvest the moss. Well he’s just awesome anyway😘 it’s fun to lead workshops because it forces, well not “forces” it opens up a world where you research and learn things that you weren’t aware of and then share it. It’s getting a little easier for me to get out of my comfort zone to speak in front of a group. Try it sometime😀

I love a challenge. I was asked to make arrangements for a gal turning 30 and wanted arrangements for her birthday celebration to symbolize death to her 20’s. Why not. She wanted deep colors and dried deadish flowers. I had a good time trying to make this happen. Happy birthday Isabel!! ♥️

I’m busy making my pumpkin arrangements. Small ones, medium ones and big mollys as I like to call them. You can DM me to place an order and I do ship. If you are thinking about your table scape for November I can provide pretty pumpkins for you. I don’t cut them so that last for months and months. I have sent a few off to California. We will also have them available this Sunday , Wednesday and cow parade. You can also pick up at our farm. I love making them!!

I am feeling very grateful today. Grateful that I get to work with flowers, grateful that customers/friends ask me to create florals for their events, grateful for my wonderful husband who created all the bud vase arrangements for today’s wedding at Brick farm Tavern, grateful to have relationships with local schools like Hun ( thank you Tami) where we provided centerpieces for their gala last night, grateful to have the opportunity to support local flower farms through , grateful that I live on this farm where we welcome people all the time to visit, grateful for my family and grateful that Oakley has a buddy named Poppy a minI horse (not a pony) since she lost her horse mate penny. Poppy is very sweet and so far all is well. She just arrived today. Thank you to all who support our little business🥰 #

We are here all set up at the Princeton university farmer’s market. Delivered all my subscription bouquets yesterday and gearing up for a wedding and local school gala event …..oh and we might have a new gal joining the farm🥰stay warm and dry out there!

We spent a wonderful weekend in Chicago with the newlyweds, Mike and Maddie. They have a cozy place and were wonderful hosts. Delicious meals, homemade ice cream, a walk to the zoo ( never have we racked up that many steps) and walk along the lake was what we needed! They are about to embark on a month long trip- Tokyo, Nepal ( trek to base camp) and Australia- be safe and have fun. Sprouts has a few events this week and Isabel will be at the Lawrenceville fall festival this Saturday!

Here is a picture of my sweet parents the day my sweet big sister got married. It is their anniversary today. They were separated for close to 40 years as we lost my dad when he was just 55. I know they are together having fun and being reunited. My dad grew all his own flowers from seed and my mother loved her secret garden. Maybe the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. I miss them🥹

It was another full and fun weekend. Another wedding to flower - this time a pastel themed palette. We ended the weekend where we love chatting with customers/friends who we see each week and spend time catching up the with other vendors who have become friends. Check out the dahlia Steve grew!! I hope it doesn’t go to his head😂. Ended up spending time with these gals on the patio.
