Friday is Employee Appreciation Day!! Surprise a special person with a bud vase of sunshine, posie, or mason jar with spring blooms. Let them know they are appreciated. We will be at the Princeton Farmer’s Market tomorrow with spring blooms, succulent arrangements, and globes and a few small plant arrangements. If you want to preorder for delivery Friday just send me a message! How about all the birds out today 🐦🐦🐦

We’ve enjoyed different geese couples nesting by our pond the last 3 seasons. They are so diligent in the nest making, the mama keeping the eggs warm and protected and the patrolling and keeping mama fed by the papa goose. I found this picture I snapped one day on the roof of our barn. What are they discussing or is it a first date?

It’s been a busy week of flowering! Oh and happy march 1st!! We have some awesome events on the calendar with our flower truck gals. If you have an event coming up and want a flower bar set up for your event inside or we can roll up with Isabel or Clementine full of spring blooms just get in touch!! We have some quality control going on here at the farm - Penny and Oakley were quite interested in looking over the bouquets. Stop by our table at the Princeton farmers market this Thursday. The weather should be nice so come and pick up your veggies, bread, cheese flowers and more!

So our pups were in the Pet Spotlight in the Princeton Living magazine this month. It was a surprise when a friend texted me to let me know. There will be no living with them now haha. This was a time of pure joy, some sleepless nights with new pups and eventually ailing older dogs. Please excuse the photos dump but we witnessed one of the sweetest times filled with such fond memories. The older dogs teaching the younger pups and the pups learning the basics but learning to cuddle and care for so their older mentors. We miss penny and Margeaux so much especially looking over these pictures…….and I snapped a lot of pictures! If anyone has an extra copy I would love to have it!

We had such a fun morning! .star.design and had a pop up at the beautiful Graduate Hotel in a cozy corner in the one of a kind lobby. Every time you go in there you see something new and fun. Diana had her Princeton themed jewelry and brass wares (check out her Etsy shop!)and Steve had all his vintage cubed memorabilia- some circa 1910 (great for graduation or birthday gifts). He has lots of other schools available. Clementine made the trip into town and did fine in the cold. We met lots of nice Princeton lacrosse parents who are braving the cold for the big game against Maryland. Good luck!! We are looking forward to the Princeton university farmer’s market starting in early April!! .star.design

We’ve been out delivering the past 2 days and will be delivering flowers tomorrow. I fully intended to have one of our gals out tomorrow loaded with flowers but the weather is just so iffy. So…… we will have bouquets ready to pick up at the farm. I have lots of pretty flowers for you and sweet cards - so you’re all set to bring your lovey some blooms. Our farm is located at 3801 Lawrenceville rd (rt 206) and we’ll have flowers available from 12-6 pm, just pull in the driveway. If you need a delivery just DM me and we could make that work. Just let me know if there is anyone you might know that needs a posie and is alone. I’m thinking Elm Court or an assisted living or memory care facility in the area. We could make that happen this weekend. Let’s spread the ❤️ ❤️❤️ #

Proud of my sweet daughter Marielle. She is invited to speak at a workshop sharing how to navigate the film festival circuit without a sales agent. She has experience as a documentary producer and storyteller the latest of which is ‘Three Promises’ a film that has been shown all over the world at different festivals. Way to go! Share your knowledge, the process and to never give up!

I’m making winter/cold weather arrangements for this Thursday’s Princeton farmer’s market. They are wrapped in brown paper packages tied up with string🎶🎶oh wait that’s a song we all know. But seriously I will have lots of other creative goods that I had so much fun making.. and here is a question for you… should I make any winter wreaths? I have so many beautiful greens and accoutrements to decorative with. And be still my heart I found lady apples which are so beautiful in wreaths. I will have bird treats as well. The birds that frequent our farm have eaten all that I have put out. Hope to see you Thursday!

Happy Grounghog’s day and happy birthday to my big brother! I’m busy making more Valentine’s creations❤️❤️❤️this is the time of year I find myself wanting to make things - I think it’s the time of year, being somewhat trapped inside, not being able to be in the garden, the barn is freezing….then there is the organizing closets and drawers, pulling everything out then running out of gas and ending up with a small mess on your bed. Anyone else going through this? The last picture is from 2016 when we brought Isabel into Hopewell motors for …… wait for it….. a new motor among other things. They were so great to work with. Sorry to ramble - need to think about dinner then watch the Grammys. We will hopefully be set up at the Princeton farmers market this Thursday if the weather allows!

I’ve been having fun making more cloches- I think I’ll call it “cloching”. They are actually romantic with heart toppers and long lasting delicate dried flowers inside. I have pretty globe arrangements in the works like you see hanging in the barn photo. I only have a few of those. They are perfect for a small wall space that could use a pop of color. Great for a college dorm room. All the four legged gals are becoming fast friends. It’s really cute to observe them. I do have Valentine’s Day orders coming in. I can deliver the morning of and we’re hoping to park one of our trucks around so stay tuned. Isabel and Clementine are getting ansy. Enjoy your weekend!❤️❤️❤️ ,

I have always had a thing for cloches. I bought a collection of heart topped cloches a few years ago and stashed them away. I’ve started creating floral scenes with them and it’s so fun! I’ll be selling these for Valentine’s Day or just because. Get in touch if you want one❤️ yesterday we delivered flowers to for a birthday dinner in the really cool room downstairs adjacent to the wine cellar. The atmosphere, food and staff are awesome. Very cozy on a cold winter evening! Who are you cheering for today?? Have fun! 🐂🐂🐂

Who will be your valentine??❤️❤️❤️ I have to say I do love this holiday. It comes just in time when it’s a little dreary and cold out and we are all craving warmer weather and spring and flowers and color. I love thinking up new ways to show people that you love them or simply a way to treat yourself. My website is getting worked on so many of these items are not up there. I actually prefer to communicate directly through messaging. I pride myself on individualized arrangements where you tell me your thoughts on what you want or favorite flowers to be included (if in season) Bird update….. they have stripped all the bird treats so I better get busy. We had such a fun time at the Princeton University Campus Club yesterday leading a floral workshop. Students and some staff gathered to learn some floral design tips and then chose a recipe of flowers to design their own unique floral arrangement using a sustainable floral grid. Each one was beautiful and thoughtfully put together. I must thank my sweet husband for creating a handout and describing different floral mechanics. We look forward to the Spring and the Princeton University student run farmer’s market! Stay warm!!
