AWESOMENESS! And so Shagstock was born.

Shagstock came about because Steve SHagwell wanted to treat Wichita to a sick show for his birthday. So he shelled out some cash and got Armed For Apocalypse to come from California and Malicyde to come from Oklahoma City, and got his Wichita homies in Dreadstar Rising and Contact to jump on the bill at a living-room sized dive bar called Kirby's. The show was free, the bands rocked, the venue had

sadistic drinks, and everyone had a blast. Steve woke up in his bathtub and thought to himself "Damn, that was metal as hell! I should do this every year! Work is already underway for Shagstock 2020 because it needs to be bigger and better...because reasons and stuff. Stay tuned!
