Auditions for our June 2023 production of You’re a good man, Charlie Brown are now open. There are two steps to be completed prior to audition (all linked via the button below):
You’re a good man, Charlie Brown will be performing at The Alex Theatre in Melbourne from 16 June - 2 July, 2023. We're seeking diverse performers for this independent theatre show. Successful candidates will be offered a profit-share agreement.
PLEASE NOTE: Interstate talent will need to cover the cost of their own travel and accomodation if they are successful.
First round video self tape auditions are due 9pm Sunday, 26th March 2023.

You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown is a musical tribute to the characters of Charles Schultz’s Peanuts comic strip. The brilliance of the comic was the way large life matters were distilled through the lens of children (and dogs!). In the musical, Charlie Brown and friends battle with schoolwork, kites, baseball games, and misunderstandings until finally realising what makes them truly happy. While the situations and relationships may be heightened for comedy, the emotions and the passions of the characters are all very real.
Our casting seeks to be inclusive we welcome with open arms performers who identify as Indigenous, Bla(c)k, a Person of Colour (IBPOC), culturally, gender, body diverse, and people of all abilities.
Rehearsals will commence on Sunday 16/4/2023 1pm. Rehearsals will be Mondays and Thursdays @7:30 and Sundays
