I’m Claire, I’m the owner and run Stellar Dreams, along with the help of my husband David and Sister Lisa and I have a passion for making, creating and designing beautiful things!
Here at Stellar Dreams we offer the ultimate sleepover experience for your children, family and friends. We also offer a huge range of other party extras and hire items too.
Our sleepovers are suitable for children from 3+ (with adult supervision of course!) and we can also provide parties for adults too. We have everything you need to make your party special, including delivery, beautifully styled set ups with our CE tested tents and quality accessories. Also the complete tidy up and take away the following day!
You can choose from our indoor dens or tipis, our beautiful outdoor bell tents in the warmer months or even a luxury picnic party, which can be brought indoors if the weather changes. We have flower walls, spas, a mocktail bar and lots more!
So this is a bit of a leap away from my previous role in the care industry which I did for nearly 20 years. But I’m still looking after people and providing a service that I truly care about, so there are definitely some similarities. My customers are just a bit younger now!
I started Stellar Dreams in May 2019 after wanting to get into the events and party hire industry (having loved a good party myself over the years!). The sleepover industry was really starting to take off and I received lots of requests for these amazing parties. Here, kids could be together at home with their friends, with the added benefit of making it extra special and memorable and even sometimes, a complete surprise (which are the ones I love doing the most)! I had lots of ideas I knew I could bring to it as I’d always loved creating, designing and making all sorts of things. And as I did in my caring days; I truly do enjoy making people happy and seeing their smiling face. It’s grown from there and I can honestly say it doesn’t feel like work. That’s when you know you’ve found the thing you are meant to do (except maybe the accounts!).
So here’s a few facts about me;
I have a 3 year old Daughter, who I’m sure will one day be my little helper!
I’ve been a vegetarian for nearly 20 years. Animals rights are very important to me and I only ever use cruelty free products.
I’ve been with my husband David since I was 19! So again that’s nearly 20 years too, as I reach the big 4 0 next year.
We live in Medway in Kent.
I’ve always loved to travel, we went on a 9 month honeymoon around the world!
I love playing Netball and have been with Mavericks netball club for the last 16 years.
I have a pretty amazing family and a fab group of supportive friends and consider myself very fortunate!
