Sherry Brown Photography captured this stunning photo yesterday of the newlyweds warm and dry inside as we braved the storm to get the perfect shot. Can’t wait to see the rest of their wedding photos!

I'm going to be completely honest. As a wedding photographer, a hurricane is not ideal! I've shot on wedding days where it's rained but you mostly get little breaks in between and quickly take advantage. Hurricane Dorian on the other hand is a little bit bitter! Well it didn't stop us from capturing the day as it was. After all, how many can say they got married in the middle of a tropical storm like this?
I had some help getting this shot from the outside before almost flying away myself. Lol thank you Kristen from Alluring Affairs for holding the umbrella over me and then leading me realize I need the umbrella in this shot. It was a bit tricky because I was wearing a bright red rain coat and had to not be seen in the glass. But we did it and survived. The couple even was so brave to go out for 5 minutes with smiles on their faces...well brave smiles hehe
They say rain is good luck on your wedding day...well Erin and Erik you're set for life!
