We are located about an hour north of the twin cities in MN and will travel to you for events!

These next few days are going to be brutally cold so we will be hunkering down.

(Dolly is much woolier than Sugar so she sweats a LOT more 🤭)

Yesterday I put up a camera in her paddock area. Mostly for fun to check in on her and see what she does when I’m not home.. it clearly got her attention last evening 😂

It was another cold 🥶 morning for chores with a feels like -12.

On these cold days and nights, you might recall from previous years that I let her come in to eat as it’s just a tad warmer then her lean to. It allows me time to pick the ice balls 🧊 from her hooves and sweep out her lean to. She enjoys some additional hay time as well 🤍

Picked ice balls from her hooves.. happy to say boots have been off since Saturday and she’s doing great! 🙌🏻☺️

Who else’s horse has started shedding?

Fun fact: no, it doesn’t mean an early spring… unfortunately. Horses shed and grow their coats by the length of daylight hours not the temperatures.

It’s the beginning of Sugar hair snow over here! ❄️😂

We took a short walk through the woods and around the yard. I opened the gate to her front pasture for a few minutes and she came out to nibble. The sun feels amazing and I think she was very relaxed today ❤️ More video clips in the comments of her cuteness 🥰
