To all - I am thrilled to announce the following business update!

Just As Planned Weddings & Events will always have a very special place in my heart I am excited to share that I am officially transitioning back to my original founding name of Samara Josephine Events. While the name may not be “new”, I have a brand new elevated aesthetic, vision, and mission and I am beyond excited to share it with you all 🤍✨

None of this would have been possible without the amazing support system I have had alongside me. Thank you to Courtney Lynette Creative Co. for guidance in creating my new brand identity, logo, and website to Be Inspired Public Relations for the business coaching, to Heather Nyquist Photography for the brand photos & shoot, to Acorace Creative for the unbelievable videography, to my amazing assistant lead planner & marketing manager (and one of my former brides 💕) Sophie Salomon, to all the vendors I have worked with over the years, and of course to all of my couples because I would not be where I am without each and every one of you.

I am incredibly excited for this next chapter, thank you for your support and cheers to an amazing future!

As of late when I’m not planning a wedding, I’ve been trying to get behind the lens.

Meet the Rayel’s. We met back in June when I captured Victoria’s sister; Jackie’s wedding up in Maine. Victoria reached out to me a month or so ago looking to do a professional shoot to revamp her website and business, I said hell yes and we had a blast! A week later I got to spend some time with her adorable little fam and do a family shoot…no words needed for how stinking cute they are!

As my wedding season comes to an end, I have more availability for family shoots, portraits, couple sessions and anything inbetween! Reach out to me directly for more information…and I will travel! ☺️

I never planned on shooting weddings but when these two reached out originally for planning services and then noticed I started my photography journey so they asked if I could capture their wedding instead, I was shocked because I was so new to photography but something in me couldn’t say no and I am SO happy I said yes. Anddd it was at my all time favorite venues Tops'l Farm 💜

I am forever grateful these Jackie & Chase trusted me to capture their day. I’m starting to really love this photography thing 😏

One of my absolute favorite venues to work at! Beautiful historic gem where you can build out a completely custom wedding with the most perfect palette to start from. One of the most unique venues I’ve ever gotten the pleasure of working at! Victoria is SO easy to work with, knows her stuff and is endlessly accommodating leading up to the event and during the entire celebration. Can’t wait to be back in July!!!

Just got to relive Morgan & Tony’s wedding day after going through their album and I am in the feeeels!! And as a fair warning Ill probably never stop sharing pictures from their big day bc I’m just obsessed 🥰

This wedding was a special one. We went through a lot since we first met and I will forever cherish the time we spent together & all the planning we did. Their love story & relationship is one of a kind and is just pure joy and happiness. Morgan you are absolutely stunning & just glowed the entire day. Tony your smile was infections and you looked handsome as can be! I am so thankful you guys chose me to be a part of your special day and I can’t wait to see you two again (hopefully very soon!)

I drove up to Maine last night and I am so happy to be back on the coast and finallyyy celebrating these two 🤗🎉💕

I have been working with MJ & Sam since November 2019 and TOMORROW they get married!!! It has been a journey but I couldn’t imagine going through such a unique planning process with any other couple. I have gotten to know them over the years & can truly call them friends now!! I am beyond excited to watch everything unfold & whiteness their love unite! Through the entire planning process & hurdles through at you (coughcovidcough) you both were so calm, cool & collected and made the entire process so much fun!
