To all - I am thrilled to announce the following business update!

Just As Planned Weddings & Events will always have a very special place in my heart I am excited to share that I am officially transitioning back to my original founding name of Samara Josephine Events. While the name may not be “new”, I have a brand new elevated aesthetic, vision, and mission and I am beyond excited to share it with you all 🤍✨

None of this would have been possible without the amazing support system I have had alongside me. Thank you to Courtney Lynette Creative Co. for guidance in creating my new brand identity, logo, and website to Be Inspired Public Relations for the business coaching, to Heather Nyquist Photography for the brand photos & shoot, to Acorace Creative for the unbelievable videography, to my amazing assistant lead planner & marketing manager (and one of my former brides 💕) Sophie Salomon, to all the vendors I have worked with over the years, and of course to all of my couples because I would not be where I am without each and every one of you.

I am incredibly excited for this next chapter, thank you for your support and cheers to an amazing future!

As of late when I’m not planning a wedding, I’ve been trying to get behind the lens.

Meet the Rayel’s. We met back in June when I captured Victoria’s sister; Jackie’s wedding up in Maine. Victoria reached out to me a month or so ago looking to do a professional shoot to revamp her website and business, I said hell yes and we had a blast! A week later I got to spend some time with her adorable little fam and do a family shoot…no words needed for how stinking cute they are!

As my wedding season comes to an end, I have more availability for family shoots, portraits, couple sessions and anything inbetween! Reach out to me directly for more information…and I will travel! ☺️

✨Fun fact Friday! When it’s wedding weekend I sit with my couples and go over EXACTLY how they want their tables set in real life. This allows us to make tweaks (if needed) and for them to be able to see their vision begin to unfold! They often will then go off and enjoy their day as I continue setting up the remaining tables. This allows my couples to truly relax and not stress about setup. To live in the moment and enjoy their weekend. This day is about YOU!! It also allows them to have that “wow” moment when they walk into their reception for the first time to see everything set up. It is such a rewarding feeling getting to experience that reaction! With this weddings place settings, I individually folded every napkin, cut sprigs of babies breath and then stuffed them into each napkin. It looked beautiful!!!! Absolutely loved the elegant & simple touches my couple had! 💜 What do you envision your reception tables to look like!?
