This months Regular and Auxiliary Members spotlight:
Regular: Gabe Roth. Gabe is one of youngest members who is making a difference around the place. Gabe is not just a regular member he is our Junior Vice Commander, a member on our House Committee, and Vice President to Post 5246 Rider's Group. Currently he is helping the Rider's Group plan their bike show. Make sure you stop by and see him June 8th 🙂. You can always catch him on Friday nights emptying all the trash cans around the place keeping it beautiful.
Auxiliary: Linda James. Linda has been around helping for years and we are so grateful. She is the smiling face you see when you walk in the hall on Mondays for bingo. Every other week you can also hear her magnificent voice calling bingo, make sure you check her out on February 12th. Linda is always there to lend a helping hand for the Auxiliary when they need help in the kitchen.
Thank you Gabe and Linda for all that you do!

January's member spotlights:
Regular Member: Billy Weiss, Auxiliary Member: Lacy Hopkins
Billy is one of our past commanders he is always there to help guide the way. He is a dedicated bingo helper on Monday nights always wishing the customers luck to help them win. Every turkey shoot you can find him running the s***t thrower and keeping the outside ran smoothly. Thanks Billy for helping guide the way and for all that you do.
Lacy is our current Senior Vice President for the auxiliary, bartender and lends a helping hand wherever needed. One of the things she enjoys doing is organizing events for our community. A couple years ago one of the organizations in town stopped having a Trunk-or-Treat Lacy jumped on opportunity and now hosts it at our post. There is a lot to be said about Lacy she is sweet, awesome, caring, funny, the most amazing person we know, and also the one that writes the member spotlights so this last sentence doesn't count. 😉 don’t worry folks I didn’t pick myself it’s always voted on 🙂

This months Regular Member and Auxiliary members spotlights are: (drum roll please) Ronnie James & Suzi Feyl. Together they have dedicated over 50+ years of service to the post.
Ronnie: Has gone above and beyond for years helping the Post and Veterans. You can always find him on Monday nights helping with bingo, assisting every year with the turkey shoot, making sure the slot machines are in tip top shape, Quartermaster and he has recently added plumbing to his list of duties. So all you men out there give him a thanks for fixing the urinal.
Suzi: if it wasn’t for this woman we would be lost as an Auxiliary. Ms. Suzi is always there to guide us in and teach us. Not only is she district 4 Auxiliary President she is our current Auxiliary Post treasurer. Each year we send her do to the shopping for Toys For Tots, she helps with all our reports and she is always at a meeting.
Thank you both for all you do!
