Using a glorious array of delicious seasonal foliage, you'll be guided through the process of making a mossed festive wreath, with all the trimmings. Now that we've had our first frosts, I feel as though I can finally contemplate the festive season. Why don't you come and join me for a session of creative wreath-making and merriment. One week on, and these are the last nasturtiums flowering from the little handful I picked. It's interesting how such a difference in flower colour can come from the same plant. The blooms start brighter and fade to that creamy yellow tone. This variety is called Ladybird Rose

Come and have a peek in the polytunnel. The dahlias look gorgeous if you don't look too closely. If you do, you will notice the devastation visited upon them by a plague (an actual plague) of a million of the tiniest snails I've ever seen. I've never experienced such dahlia damage. So much of the crop can't be used. I can't control the little blighters though, so I'll focus on the good bits, the distance shots and the fact that the Zinnias are proper stunners (the snails don't seem to find them as tasty.)

Cornish daze. Spent a gorgeous weekend in the sunshine by the seaside with my lovely mate Sara . It was JUST what I needed. Here's to sea-swimming, beaching and restorative rest. Thankyou Sara for a wonderful mini-adventure!
