DJ SOUL SELEKTAH - The CT. House Man.

DJ SOUL SELEKTAH was introduced to House Music on a short trip from his home town, in New Jersey, to the legendary club, SHELTER in N.Y.C. It blew his mind, and that was the beginning of his love of HOUSE. He began to spin house in small ( local) jams, and attend Club Zanzibar, in Newark, N.J. regularly. Dancing to house, and listening to the hits of the time, mixed by some of the great DJs of the time, lit a light in him that still shines bright today. Those influences, shaped his musical/ DJ swag. Now based in CT., he is a DJ, Producer, and Co-Founder of HOUSE HEAD CITY,( a CT. base crew of House djs). DJ Soul Selektah is a true soldier on the front lines, maintaining and building the New England House community. If you are a HOUSE HEAD, and you see his name on a flier, go check the set.
