Born from the Swamp

From a detached garage in Seminole Heights and a backyard in St. Petersburg, Swamp Sister was born. Originally founded by Kai Holyoke and Kyla Feilds, the D.I.Y. booking/management collaborative spread a message of accessibility and artistic fulfillment throughout the Tampa Bay area.

After almost a full year of successful shows, Kyla stepped down from Swamp Sister in order to pursue a new project while Kai maintained the Swamp Sister legacy. Today, operating as an independent non-profit booking and management company, zine press, and record label, Swamp Sister remains on the pulse of D.I.Y. while helping to connect touring artists to the bay area and beyond.
