ONION GRASS INFUSED OLIVE OIL??! Yes!

I’ve finally perfected the method…

Onion Grass has an amazingly unique flavor profile somewhere perfectly balanced between leek/garlic & chive. Delicate yet rich. Its amazing with just about anything! Whether used for cooking, drizzled over top, for garnish or dipping. It lifts food without competing!

It’s so satisfying honoring a w**d, often treated as if it’s a noxious pest! Sooner poisoned rather than preserved!? Turned into a treasure like this!

Also the Confit diced onion left after making it, makes an amazing vegan dumpling mix!

Ill have a bunch to give away soon if anyone wants some??

One of my favorite vegetable cuts. "Asain Style" Julienne. Some Claim Japanese origin under the tittle Sengiri. Others claim Chinese origin pronounced (qie Si). To me that's not important. What I love about this cut. Is how it show cases the full profile of this vegetable. Including a portion of the eye, in each slice. I find it incredibly satisfying to cut things against the grain like this...

BREAD TIP: Once you take your bread out of the oven, wrap in a damp tea town and allow to rest for 10miniutes. For perfect soft yummy consistency!

HEALTH TIP: When using Turmeric always combine with black pepper. To absorb the powerful antioxidant properties of the curcuminoids contained therein. Not usually absorbed when consumed without.

wow!? its hard to believe that its been 20 years since I walked out of school and into the Kitchen!! Feels like 60...

I've lost many things, including my mind! .... ha (on several occasions.) But never the desire to stand back up and cook.

This is what I do, this is who I am. For me creativity is God & Food is my religion... Have I made mistakes!? Hell yes! you name it!

But... I've never failed. Not once!

For my God is kind! she asks only that I face my fears! and learn from each and everyone of my mistakes. So now when I look back, all I see is strength & blessings...

33 years old and I'm still an apprentice. But I've learnt a thing or too about mastery along the way...

My intention for this page is to share what I have learnt along my journey this far, inspire a couple of people and maybe pick up the odd catering gig while where at it!
