Becoming a Witch
Once upon a time, I was drinking yarrow tea with my best friend and bucketlisting (that is, daydreaming about all those wonderful things we would like to do in our lives). The first one, which I had been thinking about for my whole life, was writing a book for busy, modern Witches who didn’t have much time but still wanted to get to know the craft properly, from a Traditional Green Witchcraft point of view. We discussed how nice it would be to be given a task every day, just like an apprenticeship with an elder, and to be able to finally start a decent Book of Shadows without staring at that first blank page in fear of ruining everything.
And a few months later, just like it happens when you really want to manifest something, this book was born together with its companion journal, and I was the proud mother of The Solitary Witch’s Green Book and Journal.
