Can you believe???
It´s been a year since we all came together in beautiful bämhill for the IQA European Games 2019😍 We wanted to take this moment and once again say thank you to all of you for your trust, your hard work for your teams in preparation for this tournament and of course the wonderful people who have been involved before and during the weekend to help us run the tournament as smoothly as possible.
Organizing a tournament is stressful. Coaching is stressful. Reffing is stressful. Scorekeeping is stressful. It all takes dedication and time and people should enjoy this work because it can be fun and extremely rewarding. To give our community the chance to be a healthy environment, a few wonderful people came up with the idea of a survey regarding volunteering.

One year ago, the driving people behind Three River Sport Events met for an informal reflection session over burgers and ice cream to discuss the European Quidditch Cup 2018 in Pfaffenhofen, Germany. Yesterday, we celebrated our anniversary by doing just that: Having burgers and ice cream.

Back then, we started what would eventually become Three River Sport Events. For a very long time we have been discussing about ideas for a fitting company logo. Yesterday, we decided to go with a recurring theme in our short history for our logo: ice cream.

You know what time it is? It´s time for SIGN-UPS and FORMS!

> Team Sign- Ups will open this week. Team Managers should expect an e-mail from our Gameplay Department with more information during the week.

>Reminder: The event will not be working with a mandatory Stay & Play policy, meaning teams and players are responsible to book their own accomodation.

> Gyms: There is a limited number of spots for teams in gyms (friday - monday). Priority is given to new and smaller NGBs . Our Hospitality Department will contact Team Managers about this in the upcomig week.

> Awareness Team: Sign-up for the Awareness Team will be released next week

> Volunteers: Volunteer Sign-Up will be released on 1 March!

After the announcement on Thursday, we are already busy laying the groundwork for European Games 2019 in Bamberg.

As part of our organisation process, we want to be as transparent as possible with the community. As a first step, we have decided to publish our bid document. We hope it helps you to understand the location and venue better, and that it helps team managers to start plan their team's attendance.

We are absolutely thrilled to host European Games 2019 in the beautiful city of Bamberg!
Together with the IQA, FC Eintracht Bamberg 2010 and the city of Bamberg, we want to organize a tournament with the community for the community.
Our goal is to make sure that athletes, volunteers and spectators have an incredible experience.
We will be as transparent as possible with our work and will publish our bid, as well as further information about the tournament and our company, this weekend.

The IQA is pleased to announce the locations of the 2019 Pan-American Games and 2019 European Games.

The IQA will be hosting the 2019 Pan-American Games in Richmond, Virginia in partnership with US Quidditch and Richmond Region Tourism.

The 2019 European Games will be hosted in Bamberg, Germany by Three River Sport Events, a newly formed entity, in consultation with the IQA.
