Another "Here's my face Friday" or that's what I like to call them 😂 Hi I'm Gen! If you love beautiful, garden weddings, and are here for the aesthetic, I'm probably your wedding planner! Here's a little about me for all the new people out there.

-I've in WA for the last ten years (omg that flew by 🤯) but I'm originally from an island in the middle of the Pacific ocean called ! I grew up there my whole life and it's kind of why I'm a beach snob. It's beautiful there ❤️ I haven't been back in a long long time because tickets there are almost $3k each but I will at some point!
-when I'm not planning events, I'm probably hanging out with my family. My daughter is almost 2 now and definitely always wanting to do something fun.
-if you ask me what I want to eat, 90% of the time my answer is sushi. Send me your recommendations for good sushi spots!
-Im very passionate about social justice and center a lot of what I do around equity, inclusion, and diversity. I believe that we need to work to create the world as it should be, and never accept things just as they are. We can all be better and we should be better!
-back when I had free time 😂 you could find me looking for good places to eat at with my family, reading a book on the couch, and forever organizing my house

Don't forget, if you're doing a plated dinner, you need placecards AND a seating chart. Placecards should be color coded or otherwise identifiable somehow by meal choice for the serving staff to know what meal the guest had and then the seating chart for guests to know what table to go to.

We are only taking on 3 more weddings next summer! Now that my daughter is getting older and is going to want to do more activities, I'm having to be very selective about the weddings we take on and when. I still want to be able to do fun summer activities with her as she gets older 🥺❤️ but I also want to be able to delivery great work to my clients so sadly that means taking on less. I am essentially cutting my future event date spots in half so please, if you are interested in booking, reach out as early as you can. I've had to turn away quite a few people this summer as we have been fully booked for summer 2022 for almost the last 18 months.

Friends, do not wait to book your must - have vendors! If you have any favorites you've been following for a while or any vendors you know would do an amazing job, you want to be booking them at least 12 months out from wedding day, if not more. You'll have peace of mind knowing they will be there for you and you won't feel rushed or stressed later on. Definitely an important note ✨

My heart is so full from this weekends multiple day wedding celebration. Those physically are tough because it consists of so much work and labor compressed into just a few days but it's always so worth it once everyone is in the space and having fun and enjoying themselves. There was no dry eye in the room during the ceremony, myself included 😭🥰
