Our hearts are with all affected by the devastation left in the wake of Hurricane Helene, and we're standing at the ready to support our neighbors in Western NC!

Catering Works, Bloom Works, and Ella's Popcorn will be gathering supplies and donations to be delivered to Operation Airdrop. We are collecting donations at our location at 2319 Laurelbrook St., Raleigh NC 27604 Wednesday through Saturday from 8 am until 3 pm.

Suggested donations include:

🌟Sports Drinks (Powdered Packets)
🌟Hydration packs (Powdered Form)

On August 13th 2024 The National Association of Caterers and Events (Triangle NACE) held their annual Bites and Pints fundraiser and Competition, and Rick Sloan, Executive Chef of the North Carolina Museum of Art won "Tastiest Savory Bite" with his Picadillo Beef and Mofongo Croquette!

The Croquette sat on a trio of sauces, Aji Amarillo, Aji Verde, and Peppadew, and was topped with a Chicharron Dust. This bite was served with a Mojito made with Raleigh Brewings' First Squeeze Blood Orange Wheat Ale. Catering Works' Caleb Woodard spent some long hours on the Fryer preparing the bites for service and helped Chef Rick with the win!

We are so proud of Chef Rick and Caleb, and we cannot stop thinking about those delicious bites!
