It’s & we’ve been totally spoilt over the past few years with such gorgeous British grown flowers 🌷

We’ve worked with some incredible growers over the last three years and I’m so glad we’re able to support them 🫶🏼

Over the past year or so I’ve seen a huge increase in couples specifically asking for British grown flowers when designing their wedding florals & encouraging sustainable mechanics which is so great! The more we can educate everyone on the importance of supporting our local growers and choosing less imported flowers the better.

However, it doesn’t last forever. It’s always sad when the weather turns and the season is over. We tend to have to revert back to larger commercial wholesalers to keep up with demand over the cooler winter months. BUT, supporting sustainable growers for 5 months of the year is better than none 🫶🏼

Here we go then, a quick video tutorial on how to dismantle your Christmas wreath back to its moss base ready for a second use 👊🏻 I’m currently building a calendar of workshops for the year so keep your eyes peeled for these and bring your moss base along! Key things to remember: 🌿 Foliage, greenery & dried fruits to go in green waste bin 🌿 Save pine cones for next year, throw them in the garden or make some lovely bird feeders out of them 🌿 Keep the green stub wires, these can be re used on different arrangements 🌿 Store your moss base in your garage ready for next time I hope this has been helpful & we can’t wait to see you at our other workshops ✌🏻✨
