Energy transfer is real, and I am constantly blessed with such a great crowd in my floral arranging sessions✨
I wrote to my participants yesterday that the time we had felt very soothing and calming, which is quite a contrast to most of my other classes that are often high energy, whicu is also very positively recharging. 2 hours felt too short as time flows so fast while I enjoy the quiet moments witnessing everyone allowing themselves to explore their creative side. It was a bliss for me, and I trust for the participants too🥰

So refreshing to be back gathering appreciative, likeminded people in one beautiful space while we enjoy getting creative with flowers, and explore new skills🌸
Modern Ikebana is one of my favourite modules to teach in group settings. It is fun, easy to understand, perfect for beginners and hobbyist, and I also get to gift some of the participants their first ever unit of Kenzan pin that they can use for a very long time!

On 8th June 2024, Flora Hera will be running a Floral Arranging Class inclusive of Live Arranging Demonstration to kick start the day.
It’s been awhile since I host any floral class or jamming session in group setting, as I’ve been focusing more on 1:1 Private Classes this year. If you’re one of those who have been patiently waiting for this opportunity, mark your calendar and stay here for a little bit more as I’ll announce the venue and further details of this upcoming floral session within these few days.

Come feast your eyes with these table pieces arranged with a special request to have Peonies as the focal bloom. Slightly different than my usual wild-looking layered compositions, this was a special request to be done with a dense, much more controlled positioning of flowers next to one another. Lots of ingredients, but nothing too overwhelming.

With this being posted only a week after the festive, it’s evident that I’ve been very much occupied through the first week of celebration, and I enjoyed way too much Lemang and Rendang, playing dress up with my cousin, and reuniting with old family members and friends! It’s been so fun but Flora Hera is officially back to work since this Monday!
Did not manage to capture this on my parents’ dining setup but I arranged these beauties for our first day of Eid last week. Love the simplicity of the arrangement but thoroughly enjoyed the intricacy if working with heavy materials on Kanzen pins. So into this style for hosting!
