If you’ve joined a Flora Hera workshop before, you’d know my signature “Flower Salutation”; a mindful ritual I’ve loved and shared at every beginning of my classes for the past 6 years (till today!).

Last weekend at , we went deeper: setting intentions, tuning into our senses, and creating with blooms that spoke to each participant. It was pure joy seeing everyone so present, being “in the moment”.

Last weekend I welcomed a former learner from a 1:1 Floral Arranging session, for another round of 2 modules with an upclose learning setting. Karina requested to master the techniques of arranging fresh blooms in basket, ala Flora Hera’s “Garden in a Basket”, as well as the highly sought after module; Vase Arrangement with Wire Technique.

After her first session a year ago, I have seen such evident growth with her confidence in floral placements and colourplay this time! She arranged with such joy and ease, I absolutely had the best time seeing her work on the compositions that morning.

I’m accepting limited enrollment for 1:1 sessions like this for the remaining months of 2025, so if you are keen to learn my floral techniques personally and in-depth, 45 floors above the ground with magnificent view of the magnificent KL skyline, write to me quick at [email protected]😉

Pairing both modules with the French Spiral Technique was a smart move for Alia’s 1:1 Private Floral Arrangement Class session with Flora Hera. She get to focus on the demonstration of creating a clean, neat spiral formation of stems twice, and practice it for both arrangements until she got her bouquets “standing” on it’s own.

Also - fantastic placements of blooms to create volumes and layers in each bouquet. If you think these are already beautifully done, wait for it. She signed up and learned 5 different styles of arrangements, and these are just the first 6 hours of the 1:1 lesson I had with her.

Soft colours from 1:1 Private Workshop session where my student Alia Z got the chance to decide her own palette of choice as she enrolled for the 1st day of private floral arranging lessons; Bridal Bouquet and Vase Arrangement with French Spiral.

Alia signed up to learn 5 modules, all completed within 3 days of in-depth, personally tailored contact hours of learning. Excited to share more from her sessions as I prepare for another 1:1 class this weekend!
