Allflex New Zealand Shearing and Woolhandling team manager Ken Payne(left) gets the low-down on blades preparation from team member and World championships bladeshearing hopeful Allan Oldfield.
Oldfield had just arrived for the Lochearnhead Shears ahead of the team's full assembly in France on Sunday. The World champs are in Le Dorat on July 4-7.

Elfed Jackson, Blade Shearer from Nant Ffrancon, Bethesda
Elfed won the inaugural Champion Blade Shearer of Wales competition in 2018. He has represented Wales at nine World Championships since 1998 and has been part of the Welsh team for 20 years competing in test matches and Six Nations Championships.
