The wedding of Joel & Fayth ❤️

What a pleasure it was to be involved in this special day! I had the honour of being her hair stylist, photographer, on the day coordinator, MC, and best of all - BRIDESMAID! There was a beautiful ceremony in the gardens, then on the way to reception! Not everything went according to plan but this chill bride was open to suggestions and kept her cool every second! When the projector wasn’t working for the awesome games she had planned, I found myself being a last minute MC and we improvised other games to play, and the guests were enjoying themselves every step of the way! When the car then proceeded to break down before leaving for the photoshoot, the bride STILL kept her cool and decided to enjoy some wedding cake in the car park. We decided to take a few intimate shots in the car park as the sun was setting and planned a whole new day just for wedding photos. The bride got to get back into her gown and go back to the garden where they got married and do it all over again!

A personal post to explain the importance of why I am starting this venture.
And here it is. The wedding that started it all for me.
The wedding of my brother Hayden, and his beautiful wife, Nikky.

In 2020, they were not normal circumstances, especially not for us. We were given the horrible news that our mother might not make it past the week, so Hayden and Nikky decided they wanted to get married in time for our mum to witness it. This left us with only three days to throw a ceremony together! But, we did it! Nikky already had her dress at the ready, so I got to work and set up my mother’s garden with an arbour, florals, a dessert table and backdrop. I was Nikky’s hair stylist, their coordinator and their photographer.
Nikky’s father also flew down from Queensland to Melbourne to surprise her and be with her on this most important of days! Which is another reason this celebration of love became even more special. Nikky’s father unexpectedly passed not long after, as did our mother. It was a beautiful day of union and we are so glad we were able to create it for both of our now angels.

From the engagement party, to the wedding, I can be as involved as you would like me to be. I am here to guide you to the best option for you, to fit your budget and aesthetics you’re hoping to achieve.

I can help you set a budget, decide what’s most important to you, go through ideas, styles and themes, find your ideal vendors and perfect venue for your vision, setting up timelines and even on day coordination.

If you wish to DIY some aspects of your wedding, I can also assist you in deciding what things are best to DIY!

Think of me as your fairy godmother, anything you need, and I will be there ❤️
I look forward to working alongside you all and create the wedding of your dreams!
