each couple and tailor our service to match their desire. Our services include recommendation of venues and referral of services such as florists, decorators, hairstylists, wardrobe designers and stylists etc, budget development and maintenance, timelines, style, theme and vision of your special day, Q&A regarding ceremony or reception planning, accommodation arrangements, contact sheet creation, supervision and assistance of ceremony setup, supervision and assistance of reception hall setup, and officiating.

Raising two young boys has given her the stamina she needs to keep up with whatever your wedding day may throw at her.

Steph and I (Michelle) have been planning and coordinating weddings together since 2011, and she has been an integral member of the Maeck Weddings Planning Team, bringing a much needed sense of calmness to everything she does.

Since joining us full time in 2020, she’s worked alongside 100’s hundreds of amazing couples, helping them celebrate their biggest day stress free, while laughing the entire time.

Champagne tends to follows her around, and when you meet her, guaranteed you’ll learn very quickly why couples love having her by their side!

In 2012, two best friends decided to embark on a journey into the wedding industry and since that crazy decision, have been a part of thousands of weddings since. Honestly it sounds crazy to say “thousands” but, well, it’s true!😳

First and foremost we would like to thank caffeine. Without you, this would not have been at all possible. You’re the real MVP🏆

Here’s a bit more about us⤵️

Meet Michelle - A wedding planner, mother, puppy owner, and Blake Lively superfan who loves to travel, preferably by airplane with Jeff, daughter Quinn, a glass of wine, a stellar pair of shoes and a great book. She once met Valentino in a Christian Louboutin on Madison Ave in NYC and since knew that her ❤️ belonged in the City!

Jeff - A licensed wedding officiant in Ontario (and most of the US) and charity founder with a mild obsession with coffee and Red Bull. Always looking for the funny in every situation, you’ll most likely find him quoting Arrested Development and Superbad a bit too often, working out (sometimes only to justify eating Pop-Tarts immediately after) or spending time playing salon and getting a makeover by sweet Quinn.

If you are looking to plan a ridiculously incredible and stress free wedding while having some laughs along the way, reach out and say hi!👋

Ask yourself THIS question to know if a destination might be right for you⤵️

What do you value, most?

Seems easy, right? But let’s take it apart.

Do you picture a packed venue with all your friends and family? A party until 1AM with a packed dance floor? That’s pretty dang fun!

Is it creating memories with family and friends at a location that you love to travel to or would love to experience?

Both sound like equally amazing options!

Jeff, myself and the Maeck Weddings Team have been so lucky to be a part of hundreds or weddings each with one thing in common: each wedding was distinctly unique to each couple!

Last May, we adventured to Tuscany to plan a gorgeous wedding at a stunning villa overlooking beautiful vineyards in Italy! With some of the best wine I have ever tasted, and a Michelin Chef guests were fully submersed into the culture and beauty of Italy while celebrating some of their favourite people! That’s pretty cool.

Fireworks at your wedding?! Yes! Please!!!

That being said, before you start to purchase fireworks there are a few things that you will want to do or consider!

1. Chat with your venue! You need to make sure that your venue will allow this and find out if a permit is required.

2. Chat with your venue and wedding planner about the length of the fireworks display and the location. You will want to make sure this is fit into your timeline and that there is a plan as to where guests will be sitting/standing and how they will be asked to move from the reception space to fireworks location.

3. Chat with your photographer/videographer! Please don’t ever spring a fireworks display on your photo/video team! You want to make sure they are ready to go at the right time and that they bring the right gear! I mean you want to”photos or it didn’t happen!” Right?!?!

4. Once you get the go ahead…please hire a company or someone that knows what they are doing! Fireworks are amazing but can be very dangerous and that’s not the kind of memories you want on your big day!

Meet Emily! Emily is Maeck Weddings’ newest wedding coordinator (even though she has been a part of our team now for a month or so - what can I say, wedding season has been nutso! 🤷‍♀️)

Emily comes with so. much. event experience and we’re excited for her to bring her skills, smile, and calmness to your wedding!

🍲 A super foodie! Emily is the gal who knows what she is ordering before she gets to the restaurant and love love loves cooking and entertaining!

☕️ Coffee obsessed! Emily worked at Starbucks for almost 6 years so naturally has an obsession with things caffeinated!

🍭 A candy business owner (my inner child is jumping up and down right now!). A COVID idea turned into something really great and has lead her to meeting and collaborating with so many amazing local businesses!
