This past Saturday, we had the absolute pleasure of planning J+N’s wedding at the National Museum of Women in the Arts. From the moment the groom stepped into his cowboy boots to the last sip of bourbon at their custom bourbon bar, every detail was pure perfection.✨So grateful to have been a part of this couple’s special day. This weekend we had the absolute honor of bringing to life the dream wedding of two incredible people. Our gorgeous bride, a proud Georgetown alum and former captain of the sailing team, brought her elegance, grace, humor and love of magnolias, while the groom, a TCU grad added his Texan/ Connecticut charm and love of Horned Frogs football, which made us love them from the start! This was our first event back at the Mellon since it reopened and we couldn’t have imagined a more beautiful way to return! Cheers to a lifetime of adventures ahead M+T! 🥂⛵️💜🐸

Saturday’s soiree celebrating M+P was nothing short of magical. 🪄An es**rt card wall with postcards with famous portraits had hand written notes from the newlyweds guiding guests to their seats. Massive sliding gold doors built into a custom wall slid open after the cocktail hour revealing the ethereal dining and dancing space. It was our first celebration at the jaw dropping museum. Saturday’s soiree celebrating E+M’s nuptials was epic. Their custom bar and es**rt card wall were jaw dropping, as was the dancing tent with the floral hedge in front of the band and stunning ceiling treatment. Oh, and that view!!! It was our first event at the Gibson Island Club, a serene private island on the western shore of the Chesapeake Bay. We can’t wait to come back! C+M’s ceremony on Saturday was clean and simple with all greenery and a crisp white carpet aisle runner. While guests were cocktailing on the terrace, shades of pink, lavender, peach and purple were added for a dramatic change for their return. Congrats to the most laid back, sweet newlyweds! What a weekend celebrating S+B! We’re still swooning over the escort card installation that later flipped into a dessert buffet and the pergolas over the bars, the gorgeous head table and stunning chuppah, not to mention the beautiful staircase and centerpieces. Our bride wanted the outside brought in and a nod to a boho style that was still formal enough for the National Museum of Women in the Arts.
