Happy Easter!
Regardless if you believe in it or not, the story of Christ’s resurrection has a lot of meaning to draw from. Stories of innocents and supernatural beings sacrificing themselves for the salvation of a larger group is repeated throughout different religions and mythologies. Many consider this form of self-forgetting as the very basis of all spirituality.
For me, today is a reminder that I can come back from whatever mistakes I make and the joy of watching life returning to the world after a cold winter.
That and it’s a great excuse to pig out and watch movies with the family.
