6x 15" horn subs each (3600w)
2x 15" horn kick bins each (1200w)
2x mid top horn cabs with dual show horns for highs and horn tweeters for the crisp ness 600w +150w per side (1500w)

plus
2x 15" two way cabs at 600w each for smaller events

and soon, a pair of custom built active 12" cabs

plus a full Sony active setup with 4x 10" sub and dual 6" tops for house parties and compact areas. about 1000watts total.

This stack is just one side, and without the top is taller than I am. 6'3" and it's about 6'5"

Sounds so clean . Waiting on compression drivers still.(using the black horns as interim) Apparently the Sydney docks are on strike..

They're not perfect but they're solid again after one fell over and broke the old plastic clip.

New compression drivers are on the slow boat and hopefully land before we need them!

Pretty pleased with how they look now. Hopefully they sound just as wild !

Took a 4channel amp and its speaker kit out to see how my new battery and inverter setup run. Basically a field test to gain data on what's required for a potential new generator/power supply project.

As per online calculators, we got about 2 hours which is great considering the output we had with the two tops and a small subwoofer.

New amplifier rack to power all the new cabinets being built at the moment.

4x 4700watts for sub.
4x 2000watts for midbass and upper mids
2x 1200watts for top end.

14x 1kw subwoofer
4x 1kw midbass
2x 250watt horn units
2x 100watt tweeter units.

This kit will put out some serious sound. And hoping to have it all together and operational for New Years Eve.

It will be a private event, and not advertised, but if you wish to come join, let me know and I'll give you the details.

Moving up in the world. So cool !

Not an ideal audio setup, but a compromise was established and tuned to suit resulting in very happy party goers.

This event marked the last time the setup will see this configuration.

New cabinets being made and new drivers have been ordered, new amps have arrived and DMX has been incorporated into the lighting now as well.

Next big one will be NYE and it's a goal to have all the upgrades completed and ready to kick .

Working with another team of amazing people to set up a Halloween event, and this was to make sure we had enough gear to satisfy the space.

Have spent most of the last weeks worth of evenings fiddling with the new DSP units and today made it all worthwhile.

Took just the speakers out to run them up without worrying about a dance floor, or cable management etc and played a variety of different music to judge the whole spectrum.

11 years on and still enlarging the setup.

Been doing a bunch of research and testing of gear. Heading back out on Sunday to do some more testing and tuning of the equipment.

Our winter solstice event went well, got a good grasp on generator fuel consumption, an ides of how the new dsp is affecting the amps and speakers , and the new site is perfect for setup, big flat pad, plenty of camp space and tons of firewood around.

Big thanks to Adam Smidt for donating his old DSP units, they will be incredibly helpful for future events.
My old dsp has been locked for ages so some nice new ones will let me setup the rig very nicely from herein
