So I've been doing this thing on the DOWN LOW for the past few seasons during the summer. Being the introvert that I am, it's been one of the hardest, and most rewarding part of my flower farming journey.
With shaking hands every step of the way, I've been pulling a Flower Wagon full of $10 bouquets around Downtown Bellingham, Fairhaven and then ending the evening on top of the Taylor Bridge at sunset. I do it because I feel I owe it to the flowers. They've worked so hard to put on their show and I feel they deserve to bring joy into the lives of others.
Some may say my prices are too low, but I am careful to make a true $10 (10 stems) bouquet that is grab-and-go beautiful! I want them to be accessible to all and looks are always free.
I have only received positive feedback and words of encouragement. "Keep doing what you're doing!" and "This is such a great idea!" I figure I am trying to do my part, spreading joy and goodness, trying to tip the scales toward bringing out the kindness I see in the community I live in.
I LOVE YOU, BELLINGHAM! 🫶
