Great show by a great band, looking forward to welcoming more artists to Square Deal for Tin Hut On The Toon in the near future.

The first of our new ventures "TIN HUT ON THE TOON", took place on Saturday evening (10th May) at Square Deal in Huntly. Local family band The "Sir-Reel Clarks", put on a great show to a sell out audience in what is a small intimate venue provided by Deveron Projects, (They should be congratulated for providing and maintaining such a perfect place for the use of the local community). Three piece band The "Sir-Reel Clarks" certainly made the most of the room, entertaining a lively audience with a wide range of music and song. With Andy on guitar, mandola and vocals, Aaron on melodeon and Chantel on bodhran and vocals, there was something for everyone. They were joined towards the end of the show by Owen O'Connor on uilleann pipes and whistle. Lynn provided a tasty supper during the break, so no one went home hungry. There was also a raffle, for which we would like to thank everyone who contributed a prize. We are hoping to expand our "TIN HUT ON THE TOON" format in conjunction with Deveron Projects and other local organisations, so keep your eyes open for our posters in the town and follow us on the Tin Hut Sessions page for future events.

Another date for your diaries dog lovers! The annual GCA Charity Fun Dog Show is being held on Sunday 13th July at the Tin Hut, Gartly. Open to dogs of all shapes, sizes and breeds. There will be a class to suit all of your canine friends. We look forward to greeting doggy friends, old and new, at our yearly fun day out.

The Sir-Reel Clarks show on 10th May at Square Deal Huntly is now SOLD OUT. Many thanks to everyone who has brought a ticket, unfortunately due to limited seating we are unable to meet all of the requests for tickets. For those that have missed them this time, The Sir-Reel Clarks are also appearing at Cruden Bay on 16th May, details are available on the Sir-Reel Clarks page.

Merry Christmas Everyone! The Tin Hut Sessions Christmas Get Together is tomorrow the 19th December. FREE entry, tea, coffee and food.....we will have a raffle so anything you can spare for that would be great. As usual we will have a sharing buffet, so again if you can bring some food along that would be good too.

Due to current weather conditions the Christmas Fayre and Light Switch On at The Tin Hut, this Sunday has been cancelled and will now take place on Sunday 1st December.
