We are looking forward to welcoming Bard and Karina, who have previously performed for us at the Tin Hut as members of the Hoth Brothers. Definitely not to be missed!

If you've enjoyed our coffee mornings in the past at the Tin Hut, why not come along on the 28th September and have the added pleasure of entertainment while you eat. There will also be a fine lunch menu available between 12 noon and 2pm. From 2pm the competition for the annual Tin Hut Trophy for the best song or music, original or cover will take place. The winner will hold the trophy for one year and will also receive a prize of £20. Entry to this competition is £2 and is open to all. All you players and singers out there, why not come along and join in the fun. An open session will follow after the completion of the competition, should those present like it to happen. All proceeds will go to the Gartly Community Association for the upkeep of the hall. We look forward to welcoming you all to what will be a fun filled and entertaining day.

Many thanks to everyone who came to support the Gartly Gaitherin, musicians, singers, highland dancers, the poets, the storyteller and of course the public who came to watch, listen and to enjoy Lynn's tasty lunches. We are grateful to all those who entered the first Tin Hut Trophy competition, the winner of which was Owen O'Connor who played his melodeon and captured the judges favour with his tunes, including his rendition of "Drunken Sailor". All this was followed by an evening show featuring Bob Sharp in the first half and The Sir-Reel-Clarks in the second. Our thanks go to them for finishing off what was a great days entertainment. The fine hamper was won by Ronan Fitzsimmons.
