We’re gearing up once again to join and to take on Box Office Operations for It’s a New Day + Breakfast of Champions 2024. This is San Francisco’s longest-running New Year’s Day celebration and one of the most badass block parties on the West Coast.

MoonDrop loves collaborating with artists & healers especially to produce interactive healing experiences.

Tonight we join our dear friend, as she leads us in an online interactive musical gathering to introduce her new EP, MOTHER.

Over the last several year we have experienced firsthand Nila’s ability to heal hearts with her beautiful voice and loving energy. We look forward to coming together for this special healing session and to celebrate the release of her new music. 💜

Our passion at MoonDrop is to help amazing and talented humans share their light and craft with world. We do this by producing the space and handling the logistics so artists and healers can focus on sharing their gifts.

This weekend we helped in collaboration with the magical produce a women’s healing circle. It was next level. We were honored to have Don William Llerena lead and share his beautiful music.

This magical painting by really illustrates how we feel leaving the weekend.

It is our honor, in collaboration with the magical to bring Don William Llerena of to ATX. This free performance will take place on Wednesday, September 20th at the beautiful during dinner service.

Two years ago we were fortunate enough to cross paths with the amazing duo, Ilumina Medicina. Since then we have witnessed their music assist with healing and spiritual growth, as welll as touch the lives of many.

We are so excited for William to share his Peruvian Folklore & Medicine Music with the ATX community. We hope you can join us! 🌿

Rob & Masha were married amongst the Redwoods in a beautiful Northern California town. This spectacular event was a 3-day "Forest Fancy" themed wedding weekend, which included fire dancers, aerialists, flashmobs & an exquisite 'Oysters in the Garden' reception with live music. The food was delicious and the smiles were endless.

🌸 In honor of Mother's Day (which is Sunday btw!) we're showcasing these gorgeous edible flower spring rolls.

💐Using edible flowers can be traced back to Roman times and to the Chinese, Middle Eastern, and Indian cultures. For all of their history, edible flowers have been a bright spot on the culinary landscape and add a unique touch to any event.

🤓 Venue Scouting 101

We just returned from Sedona, Arizona where we did a site visit for an upcoming 3-day destination wedding.

Here are some questions to keep in mind when you're looking at venues for your next event.

📅 Date - Is the date available? Does the venue offer an off-season price? Sometimes you can find a killer discount if your dates are flexible.

🎪 Infrastructure - Does the venue need a lot of additional infrastructure to create activity, ceremony, and dining spaces?

💰️ Cost - Is everything included in the venue fee? Hidden costs can include staff, trash/recycling, and bathroom rentals.

🌎️ Location - Is the location convenient to get to? Also, think about setup, parking, meals, and if elder guests can handle the terrain.

🧑🏻‍🤝‍🧑🏻 Capacity - Does the capacity align with the guest list?

🏘️ Accommodations - If it’s a multi-day event is there on-site housing? Are there hotels or b&bs nearby? Pro Tip: If you can rent out on-site housing to guests it can be a great way to help cover venue costs.

🌸 Decor - How much additional decor does the venue need? Some venues are so gorgeous they don’t need much which can save time and money.

🍲 Food & Bev - Does the venue have an accessible kitchen and kitchen equipment?

🚘️ Parking - Will we need a parking team or shuttle service?

🚽 Bathrooms - Does the venue have enough bathrooms or do they recommend additional rentals?

🍷 Vendors - Ask for a list of vendors the venue has worked with in the past. Pro Tip: sometimes the venue requires you to use the vendors of their choice. This is not necessarily a big hurdle but can change the planning approach and cost.

📸 Lastly, we always make sure to take tons of photos and videos. We reference these many times throughout the planning process.

WE 💜 FESTIVAL OPERATIONS

✨We’re still basking in the afterglow of the Envision Festival where we once again spent 4 weeks in the jungle working this extraordinary event.

🌿 This year as part of a leadership training we had the pleasure of working with the Earth Pulse Academy to create a story plot about the work we do for the Envision Festival. Check it out!

Large festivals sometimes have a hard time developing and executing cohesive operational plans. Without the right plan in place to catch the details, preplanning is ineffective and messy, and the operations during the festival are chaotic and stressful. If we don’t have our stuff together, the guests, as well as the staff, feel like they are not a priority and aren't being well taken care of.

We develop and fine-tune the documentation for on-site businesses, empower the biz-ops managers and uphold team morale. We bridge communication between managers and directors. By bringing clarity and systemization to overall business operations, the planning goes smoothly, the teams work effectively, and the attendees and staff feel really well taken care of.

We often suggest menu ideas for the omnivorous diet but today, a little love for our VEGANS!  

YES, you can definitely serve a meal at your event that reflects your ethical beliefs! A fully vegan menu could be a golden culinary opportunity to share your values with your community as well as show them how incredibly delicious vegan food can be! 

No matter the reason people choose to become vegan, for the ethical commitment, dietary benefits, or ANY reason at all we will always support the choice and work hard to source the best vegan vendors out there!

Here’s one of favorite vegan event menus EVER!

APPETIZER - Hot and Creamy Vegan Artichoke Dip - What a crowd-pleaser!  It’s baked until rich, creamy and is totally irresistible slathered on crackers, chips or fresh baked bread. 

THE MAIN - Homande Vegan Linguine with shiitake mushroom wine sauce, and pepper. This dish is classy, full of flavor, and a perfect way to satisfy your guests.

AND FINALLY
Dessert  - Please promise us you'll try The Strawberry Streusel Vegan Donut from a vegan, gluten & soy fee, 90’s feminist riot grrrl band inspired bakery located in Austin Texas. These doughnuts are to die for and would kill at your next event!
