And the mielie rice biryani👇🏽...was served with a chutney made with roasted tomatoes & garlic, and blended with fresh chilli and coriander...although it's roasted we call it katcha(raw) chutney and it's very close to the Mexican's Pico de gallo😊

#RecipeDrop #LatePost #SundayMorningBake DOUBLE CHOC AMERICAN BROWNIES Fudgy on the inside and crispy-cake on the top!😁 INGREDIENTS: 2/3 Cups Butter 1/2 Cup Boiling Water 2 Large Eggs @room temp. 1tsp Vanilla Essence/Extract 2 Cups Sugar 1.1/3 Cups All Purpose Flour 3/4 Cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder 1/2 tsp Bicarbonate of Soda/Baking Soda 1/4 tsp Salt 2 Cups Dark Chocolate Chips 1/2 Cup Chopped Pecan Nuts(optional) METHOD: Do not use a beater!😉 Preheat oven to 180Degrees Celsius Melt butter and set aside to cool Combine Cocoa, Sugar and Bicarb in a large bowl Stir in Half the amount of Melted Butter and all the Boiling Water and stir well until well combined. Add in the Eggs and balance of the Melted Butter. Then gently fold in the sifted Flour and Salt and mix until well combined. Finally stir in the Chocolate Chips and Pecan Nuts(optional) Pour into a greased 13×9inch greased /lined baking tray. Sprinkle more Chocolate Chips/Pecan Nuts on the top. Bake on the middle shelf for 35-40minutes or until Brownies begin to pull away from the sides of the tray. Cool in the pan before serving on its own or with your favourite vanilla icecream. Enjoy!🌼🙏🤗
