My two boys and I go to the at least once a week and my oldest wanted to go as a family today with my wife. The interactions with the animals are different every time and for the first time in months, this Amur Tiger was posing close to the glass.

After a LOOONG wait for these (COVID delays), I finally got my hand on a pair of Ridgemont Monti-Hi boots. They look good enough to wear day-to-day but feel far more sturdy than expected. We’ll see how they do as a daily driver around Pittsburgh.

You’ve probably seen this photo of before. It’s even called the “iconic view” because it’s iconic. However, it’s a pretty cool experience to be there and to take your own photo, especially when the colors are right at peak for the fall.

It’s a beautiful foggy morning, we had already planned to hike to a waterfall that we hiked to a week ago. We drive the 20 minutes, get out of the car and...no card in my camera. 🤦🏽‍♂️ I was bitter about it for a while, cause this is a BEAUTIFUL area with great photo potential, especially on this foggy morning. I was bummed to say the least. I took advantage of my phone camera and made better memories with my boys instead of being behind the camera the whole time. Bummed on the high rez images I missed, but still thankful for the memories.

Every time I visit the zoo, it’s a new experience.

I know the hesitation with zoos and keeping animals in cages. I feel it too. I hope you see the beauty in these images and know animals belong in the wild and are worth preserving. My kids will learn of their wild counterparts and hopefully grow to do their part to protect all animals.
