Finally getting a chance to properly acknowledge and thank all the vendors that helped make our wedding day special!!
Thank you to Thomas for capturing all the moments of the day, the amazing cake vision that Marianna of helped bring to life, help with "Day of" coordinating , Shawnte of .events, Sherronda of and Alondria of who established the decor vision and worked their magic to bring it to life! T Special thanks to the MUA: Shundra and Kimmy for coming in EARLY and getting us together, hairstylist Taneshia for transforming this head and jumping in to help wherever she was needed, for the awesome custom photobooth, for the beautiful table linens, for the gorgeous custom menus and last but definitely not least...to Chelsea and her team Country Club for putting up with me for over 2 years! Thank you to everyone who was able to come out and join us, especially our wonderful bridal party who've been on this rollercoaster ride with us since the beginning. We couldn't invite everyone, but was glad to be able to FINALLY share this time with family and a few close friends ❤ ......one more thank you to Ms. Ailene and the Beautiful You team for my dress alterations and hooking up my custom 2nd outfit (that I almost waited too late to get into to get good pictures 😏).

Often when asked about my favorite restaurant, I have to narrow it down by cuisine, but this little gem has ceased to amaze me with everything I have ordered. From the Sweet potato hash, to the Creme Brulee French toast, the Bread Basket with champagne butter to the caesar salad, Summer Salmon, Roasted Vegetable Quinoa (newly discovered😋)...and yes, I have been there a few times!😏😉🤫 And let's not forget...the chai latte!😋😋😋 Today's "Paisley Blu Favorite" goes to @Leelandhouse and their amazing staff! February is OVER! Where did the time go? Before this month ends, I ventured away from the Around Town Paisley Blu Downtown segment for a sec to feature two Houston Black Owned businesses! One is Not Just Donuts that's been on the corner of Emancipation (Formerly Dowling) and Gray for 18 years and Two is Hanks Ice Cream that's been on S. Main for 33 years! I fell in love with Not Just Donuts personal bundt cakes...long before the chain and I remember Mr. Hank (RIP) delivering the gallons of ice cream himself to the office for events. I'll do a little more detailed post soon, but for now, here's a good snippet!
