Who's coming to the Maker's Market in Hagley tomorrow?? I'll be running the little cafe 🙂

Plenty of cakes: Devonshire Apple, Rhubarb, and Rosemary, Lemon and Coconut, flapjacks...

Lunch time menu: Miso, mushroom sausage rolls, Smoked Tofu curry, Beacon blue Goats Cheese and Leek Tart to name a few.

Letting you all know I'll be popping up at Riverside house for the International Glass Festival this bank holiday weekend ☀️

It really is the most beautiful space Stourbridge has to offer 🙂

So whether you're a lover of Glass exhibits, craft and culture, live music, or my delicious seasonal food please come down and support this event. It's honestly the most delightful place to visit. You'll find yourself hugged by nature, nestled in between the historic canal and the River Stour with lots of exciting activities for you and the family.

I'll be in the pretty little cafe situated in the shipping containers as you come though the main gate, walk past the Bonded warehouse along the canal and you'll see us on the left.

I have been experimenting with some "small plate" ideas for a pop-up restaurant, possibly located in my garden!?

One of my creations is this: Slow cooked Aubergine, Cashew feta made with the best raw cyder vinegar, sprinkled with Za'tar, good olive oil, and salt. 🍆

This morning at 4.30am my "wife" (friend of 37 yrs), awoke me to collect her dog who I'd been housing whilst she had been adventuring in Corfu. To my delight she brought me presents of Aubergine and a very nice olive oil! ☀️ life is good, little bear 😊

I have also consumed so many cherries that I fear I may re-enact the scene from the Witches of Eastwick (love that film) 🍒
