Love is in the air at our special Valentine’s evening! Bring a bottle and join us Friday 14th February at the Two Old Goats in Market Harborough for the perfect romantic evening. Either dine in at 6pm or at 8pm, or come and collect your meals and take them home for a cosy night in.

On the menu will be:

Sharing Starter Board which will include:
Onion Bhaji with mint riata
Leek, Mint & Pea Samosa
Chicken Satay Skewers
(vegetarian and vegan options available)

Main, choose from:
Beef Jalfrezi
Cape Malay Chicken Curry
Golden Butternut Dahl
(all served with rice & naan)

Sharing Dessert Board which will include:
Warm Salted Caramel Brownie
Pistachio Fudge
Raspberry & Passion Fruit Eton Mess

The delicious feast will be £55 per couple and please pre-book and let us know your choice of main menu by Wednesday 12th February. Email [email protected] or send us a DM.

Our usual Curry Night isn’t on at the moment whilst Babs (our horse trailer) has a makeover so we’re looking forward to seeing you all. Pop in to the Nelson for a drink before or after your Valentine’s meal to say hi to landlady Jan and we’ll keep you posted about when Curry Night will be returning.

You’ll find it for sale at Two Old Goats in Market Harborough or send us a DM or email [email protected] to order. Choose from Date, Pecan and Coconut or Apricot and Sesame. A jar is £8.95 and you can also order a refill for £6.50 by DM or email.

Merry Christmas!

We hope you all have a lovely festive break. We wanted to thank you for all of your support since we set up The Goat & Baker. Thank you to everyone that has attended curry night, thank you to Jan at the Nelson, thank you to our families, thank you to Leicester Tigers (they couldn't not be mentioned 😄) and thank you to everyone that has chosen us to cater for their events over the last few months - we really appreciate it.

This Friday it's our last curry night of the year at the Admiral Nelson in Market Harborough. Pop along for delicious curries and Christmas cheer!

The curry bowls on the menu this week are:

🔸 Beef Jalfrezi
🔸 Chicken Tikka Masala
🔸 Cauliflower & Aubergine Curry

The curry bowls include rice and flatbread and we'll also have Bobotie samosas and cakes!

There is sheltered seating, blankets, heating and fairy lights! Come along between 5pm - 8pm and if you want to be sure of getting the curry bowl you'd like send us an email ([email protected]) or a DM to pre-order by midday on Friday. If you've got a night in planned simply order your curry bowl to take away and come along to collect it.

Curry Night is back this Friday 6th December!

Come and join us for a warming curry and get your weekend off to a great start. You'll find us at the Admiral Nelson in Market Harborough amongst fairy lights, with sheltered seating, heating and blankets or you can order your curry to take away.

Here are this week's Curry Bowls (all served with rice and flatbread):

🔸 Lamb Rogan Josh
🔸 Brazilian Coconut Chicken
🔸 Cauliflower, Aubergine and Cashew curry

We'll also have tasty Leek, Pea and Mint Curry Puffs and delicious cake.

We're back at the Nelson in Market Harborough for a special Christmas Curry Night on Friday 6th December. We'll be sharing the menu and more information next week so keep an eye on our socials 👀

In the meantime you'll find us this evening (Thursday 28th November) at Two Old Goats where we will be launching our new range of granola, jams and chutneys! It's Market Harborough Late Night Shopping and over 50 shops and businesses will be open. You'll find us at the Goats 6pm - 9pm along with Fred's Den, Jute Coffee, Tatty Buy, Left To Draw Studios, Jenny Nixie Dale Illustration, Boovah Jewellery and MOODY MELON pets

Come and see us this Thursday evening at the Two Old Goats where we’ll be launching our new range of granola, jams and chutneys.

Two Old Goats will be open 6pm - 9pm as part of the Market Harborough Late Night Shopping evening and will be serving drinks and cakes. Fred's Den, Jute Coffee, Left To Draw Studios and Tatty Buy (vintage clothing) will also be there.

Come and enjoy a warming, filling, delicious curry this Friday evening at the Nelson, Market Harborough. We'll be there 5pm - 8pm and you can eat your curry at the pub or take it home.

Here is our choice of Curry Bowls this week:

Do you have plans this Friday evening? If not pop down to the Nelson for a curry! We'll be serving curry bowls, onion bhajis and cakes from our trailer and the pub bar will be open for your drinks. Eat inside, outside or take your curry home with you.
