Reflection time again (sort of ff ou******en)
Are you ready for some complaining, celebrating and a good middle finger?
First of all. I love my path so far. What happens, happens. My path brought me this year even more towards early rave since the 90โs. Ode aan de gabber, the Early rave mix, Rocking remix and This is dedication had a huge impact on my path.
My mission is to bring a different version of early rave to the table. The love for diverse styles is still there and I believe there are more angles with early without losing the core. We can do more with the technique that is available. I sincerely enjoying what is happening and loads of people that love terrormusic I see at early rave parties and vice versa.
But what about the terrorscene? Well. What I hope for (and fight for) is that we make way again for slower (hc people will laugh about our definition of slow haha) terrormusic. The example of Stickhead & Don Demonโs classic โDemonheadโ of several tracks of the classic DOA group didnโt reach faster then 220/230 bpm. Donโt me wrong, I DO respect faster stuff (do I really have to prove that?), but I miss the dancing element/energy on the dancefloor. I miss the build up sets.
Within the terrorscene we donโt need to compete with no other scene. We did our thing and we do our thing. Are we the hardest? That question is answered by people who are into pink/white noise art music. Let us be that stubborn brother/sister doing their own thing. We need less talking and more music releases. And not only early terror or speedcore but also new straight up terror like before. Give me stuff I can play in several setsโฆ.please!!!
And industrial sceneโฆ.give me also some dancefloor stuff, your edits donโt impress me at all. Itโs time for some good old bangers. Just like the terrorscene you need to rise again.
This year I changed more. I cared less and less about my surroundings. Uptempo, donโt care. Pre-recorded sets, donโt care, table dancers, donโt care. Because I donโt have any control over it and I rather put my energy in stuff I DO like.
Same as in my personal life. F**ck me over?, too much talking and jealousy/envy? No worries goodbye. I rather focus on people that DO care about me, with actions louder than words and that look into a bright new day with chances, instead of crying. And yes, sometimes I will be still a stubborn, difficult dude with a temper, but funk itโฆ.i will always be a terrorhead singing โWE DO WHAT WE WANTโ.
And slowing down? WellโฆIโm thankfull for playing at Thunderdome, Masters of hardcore, Dominator, Harmony of hardcore, Decibel, Pandemonium, Decade, 909/Shangri-la, Mexico (what an adventure) ect ect. Big or small I loved them all.
And a small mention of my hobby project Ritchie Gambino, loved the set at Decibel + plus the releases on Horacle and HKV. And that great podcast about sneakers, big up to Tim & Tom.
So let 2025 be the year of great hardcore, early and terror. Letโs focus on s**t we DO like, there is too much drama in the world anywaysโฆLET GRANDPA BE YOUR ESCAPE.

For this year an extra salute to Big Boy, HKV crew, 100% hardcore, Most wanted, Elitepauper, The Vizitor & fam, The terrorladies crew, all collab homiez and all people who are fighting for the terrorscene in any shape or form. And a special shout out to Terrorina, 2025 will be your year!
