Last month was really bittersweet with the closure of Rad. It’s heartbreaking to see such an amazing venue go but on the bright side every band I saw there in the last week was amazing and put everything they had into each set. But music isn’t over, this Friday I get to see my boys Coffin play their last show with Dress Up at Crowbar which should be nuts. Anyways here’s top 10 for last month.

This place is the best venue in the world. There will never be another like it. Thank you for letting me put on my first shows here, sneak in underage to watch bands and make life long friends and memories. I pray that this isn’t the end and only just the beginning. Last month was very bitter sweet. Got to see a lot of my friends play their last sets ever at Rad but sweet in the way everyone is putting their all into each set and pumping out some of the best performances I’ve seen from some of these bands. Also got to see heaps of other sick bands. Lots of good s**t on today though. White dog, concrete lawn and research reactor corp in Sydney tonight, or space boys have a gigantic lineup of filth at the foundry or even 24 cones down in Mogo with one of the sickest lineups I’ve ever seen. I’ll figure it out later.

Last month was a large one for rock music. Got to see some fu***ng sick bands and some really good sets. Last month was so good that I couldn’t decide between a number one set of the month, so it’s a tie. This month is going to be massive as well. Tonight I get to see some of my friends play their last ever Rad show and tomorrow I get to see Batpiss for the first time in like 2.5 years. Yeehaws all round
