One of the country’s finest wedding expos is back in 2025.

“love a fair” returns to “The Meadow” at Chevalier College Bowral from 10.00am-3.00pm Sunday January 19 2025.
I have exhibited at this event before and while I cannot attend this years to a prior engagement, I can guarantee that if you are looking at getting married in The Macarthur, Wollondilly, Southern Highlands, Illawarra or Sth Coast this is one wedding expo you do not want to miss!

Apart from the fact it is my hometown of Bowral you can expect to see over 80 wedding vendors and venues in the one place showcasing all the products and services that will make your wedding decisions easy and convenient. I hope to see you at the event in 2026 however in the interim if you are looking for a celebrant for any upcoming wedding date please do not hesitate to reach out and we can arrange a meeting to discuss.

When you start to plan the venue for your wedding ensure you have a Plan B.
If at a wedding reception venue or outdoors do you know what you are going to do on the day if it rains or worse still if it starts to bucket down just as guests are arriving. 🌧️
Ask the questions and ensure you are comfortable with the answer. Be mindful that you may need to let go of the idealistic dream of that perfect location if Mother Nature decides to interfere.

Be practical and be accomodating!
But remember you may well need a Plan B💒

If you plan to look like this little fella on your wedding day🍾, please think again.

Far be it from me to be the alcohol police, but let’s take a moment to emphasise the importance of sobriety during the ceremony. Your celebrant has the right to ensure that the union is entered into with clear minds, should they feel your judgment is impaired from alcohol or drugs they may not be able to marry you.

So, by all means have a champagne and orange juice or that cold can of bundy and coke but please be sensible.
Save the “I’ll have one more” till after the “I do’s”!🥂

As we head towards the end of 2023 thought it was time to give you the vote for my favourite wedding and function venue in the MacArthur. That vote goes to Ottimo House at Denham Court.
