Friends, the reason why i constantly post about staying positive and protecting your peace always, is because i know what negative energy is and have experienced it most of my life. It would take me a book to share my experiences but i think i experienced the worst during my wedding planning. What was supposed to be the happiest year of my life actually felt like the worst, all because of people I knew as well as complete strangers. If i survived that year, i can survive anything.

Planning your wedding is supposed to be exciting, and it was when only me and fiance knew about it.As soon as family and friends were told that's when the nightmare began.Everyone had their opinions and it was nothing positive. Fabricated stories were doing the rounds about me by people who did not even know me. I was called a "little girl" who was only after his money. Our age gap did not make things any easier and had people speculating and making their own judgments. Who is she? What does she do? What does she have? She is not good enough for him.

Bathong it was too much for anyone to take. I was in my late 20s,still trying to find my purpose in this world. Hubby was already established, so that on its own made their heads spin.I met him after taking years off relationships and it was the same with him. We both had been single for years, were at peace and had fully recovered from our past relationships.

I remember at one point i broke down in front of him, asking him to just go find someone in his league. A successful Dr or CEO or something because i was tired of the judgements and the hate i was recieving from other people. He looked me straight in the eye and told me that he chose me and will always choose me. I don't know how many times i slipped into a depression that year. At one point i wore a size 28.My wedding gown was extremely loose by the way due to stress.

My life was turned upside down by angry, bitter, clueless people who did not even know me. I got to understand why people end up canceling their wedding plans, get depressed and sometimes even die while planning their weddings. Its sheer hate and negativity around their wedding. If i didn't have God as my anchor, and a supportive partner who prays, i would've probably died that year. This is why i always advise those who are preparing for their weddings to pray because people's energies can make those plans disappear.

Marriage is a beautiful thing, but its sad how much evil it stirs. Friends, when someone you know shares their plans to get married, wish them well and pray for them. I don't believe anyone would want to take that step unless they were really ready, so keep your opinions to yourselves and choose to pray for them instead.At the end of the day its their life, not yours. Its their marriage, so why meddle in something you will have absolutely no control over? If their marriage doesn't last then its still okay, it wasn't meant to be. Also understand that the duration of your relationship means absolutely nothing. What matters is the quality of your love.

If i was a weak person with no faith, i honestly believe that i would have canceled my wedding plans that year. People hate love so much, and mine which they hardly knew about sent shivers down their spines. They did not think it was possible to fall in love and get married that fast. Some even told hubby that they gave our marriage a year and it would be over. 😳Lets change that evil mindset and be better. Have a positive attitude towards marriage. Its a calling, not some scripted reality show you can rate, comment and make judgments on.

Celebrate love, pray for others instead of having sleepless nights hoping their plans fail. That my dear friends is witchcraft which can only be cured by opening your hearts. The minute i walked down the aisle, all that tension faded. It was as if i was walking with the angels. My heart was filled with joy and i knew we had defeated the enemy. I danced like a mad person on my wedding day. That my dear friends, was a dance of victory. God always wins.
