Monday’s Heartbeat, grounded in the essence of collaboration, offers a musical odyssey that dances between the age-old tales that inhabit the history of American music. The sound of the Seattle-based band is both familiar and fresh, as they meld classic instruments with the likes of the Moog synthesizer. The members' passion for music and the joy of sharing it with listeners is the motivation that defines the project. Monday’s Heartbeat is more than just a band — it's an exploration into the true spirit of collaboration.

Act Human is the first release by Monday's Heartbeat. It's a musical voyage helmed by Tremulant label boss Joe Bellingham, who orchestrates a rotating ensemble of Seattle musicians and vocalists. Among those featured on Act Human are Art Butler on acoustic guitar, Sean Donoghue-Neider, known as 'Night Train,' on the harmonica, Daniel 'Danimal' Wilson on the keys, and Brett Vehrs and Kat Larrabee on vocals. Nathan Hall engineers the music and is a vital member of the collaborative. All are united by a shared vision of bridging live instrumentation with dance music.

The title track and "High & Lonesome" are the two originals that lead the single. They both have a remarkably distinctive sound, somewhere between indie dance, midtempo nu-disco, and downtempo cosmicness. Lush rhythms and chord-scapes warmly caress the live instrumentation and rustic vocals. Two remixes of "Act Human" follow, electrifying the subtle dancefloor flavor. Nathan Hall (Akumandra, Heimlich Musik) and Luca Musto (Laut & Luise, Feines Tier) each offer versions that maintain the spacious, midtempo sensibilities but propel the original elements into sublime new contexts for both the club and the listening room.

The Seattle-based artist monotropa. returns to the Tremulant label to once again explore deep sensations and cosmic vibrations through musical expression. The Distancia EP executes this through three textural tracks that combine elements of house, techno, and ambient atmosphere. Remixes from El Mundo, Wesley Holmes, and Slow Shadow go even further into distant territory.

"Distancia" starts the EP with a floor-ready pulse, flowing with synthetic chord hits and arpeggiated gyrations over a steady four-on-the-floor ride. A cinematic breakdown envelopes the cut with shining melody and impulsive drama. This is followed by "Torrente" which utilizes tones resembling the gentle rings of a thumb-piano as its backbone. Buzzing synth bass, ominous drones, and flashes of percussion rise and fall with expansive depth. "Lavar" is more laid back though no less layered or spacious than anything else on Distancia. A processed guitar-like riff hypnotically riffs on top of chord pads and a mid-tempo house beat, all giving the feel of a transcendent moment on the way.

El Mundo (Quetame Records) supplies the first remix with a version of the title track It's a bouncy trip through exotic places and faraway fauna, where jungle sounds abound as a tribal rhythm carries the cut through strobe-lit valleys. Seattle house music veteran Wesley Holmes next tackles "Lavar," offering a decidedly west coast flavored take that's atmospheric, psychedelic, and perfect for afterhours dancefloors. The EP closes out with a rework of "Lavar" by Slow Shadow, a nom-de-plume of Tremulant's Joe Bellingham. It's an acid-tinged downtempo treatment, enhanced by a pair of distinctive vocal contributions. Vibes for days and days.

Alkemiss Erika is someone that Tremulant has had our eye on for a while. Through connections of the organic house music scene, we have been listening to her Soundcloud mixes and have been liking everything we hear. So it was about time to bring her up! She will be bringing the dark, organic vibrations to the evening to keep us up through the night. With a plethora of amazing genres blended in her mixes, we can’t wait to be surprised and carried through the night this Luminosity.

Captivated by house & techno music from growing up in the 90’s LA rave scene, AlKemiss EriKa began her journey as a San Francisco DJ before becoming a full time mother took her away from the scene - although her love for the music and desire to play music lived on.

Fast forward a couple of decades and she has once again found herself dedicated to her craft with more passion and desire to bring music that connects people on the dance floor and move them from the heart.

AlKemiss Erika is rapidly re-emerging in San Francisco and beyond…sharing the stage with many world renowned artists such as Marques Wyatt, Armen Miran, Volen Sentir, Sahar Z, Jimi Jules, Kora, Sabo, and many more. Playing at many iconic venues in SF - Audio, The Midway, Public Works, Great Northern…and traveling internationally to Panama to Radio Venao gatherings as well as being a beloved resident DJ at Cielos in the high desert of Southern California. Orchestral, Tribal, Deep, Melodic, Progressive, Desert and Atmospheric vibes are the soundscape you will find on the dance floor with AlKemiss at the helm. She is dedicated to her craft and is diving into production as well.

I can’t stress enough how special it is to have a label boss booking. The curation that goes into running a label brings a clear and defined aesthetic direction that shines bright in a DJ set. The value alignment and dedication that help to build the brand of a successful label shows a deep, passionate love for the music that they play. We are sure in for a treat this weekend.

I am so excited to announce our headlining DJ. A strong connection lies between the music of Kora and an appreciation of the natural beauty that surrounds us. This will be ever present during his sunset slot at Luminosity. His label is Saisons and every release seems to carry this organic and nature focused sensation. So at the foothills of a snowcapped mountain, amongst the trees, minutes from the creek, is the absolute BEST way I could imagine presenting this music.

Mikael B Robillard, more commonly know as Kora, is a DJ, producer and electronic music teacher from Québec, Canada. His sound blends ambient and world music elements to an evolving touch of deep and progressive house. Kora’s original music brought him to play in various corners of our beautiful planet, and his intention is now more than ever to use sound as a vessel to connect people together in these times of change.

As a passionate sound explorer, Mikael takes inspiration from humans, nature and the cosmos to create his songs and remixes that got released on labels like Anjunadeep, Kindisch, Seven Villas and Decca. He had the chance to remix artists like Mercan Dede, Ludovico Einaudi, Hraach and Pablo Bolivar.

In 2018, Mikael co-founded the Montréal-based record label Saisons Musique and he’s en route to share his first multimedia album ‘Azimuth’ - a journey inspired by the boréal forest where he grew up.

Ben, well known for his sacred vibrational sounds, will be bringing more than just a bath of sound to Luminosity. He will be setting the vibration of the weekend with a DJ set which is an opportunity for us to experience the electronic side of his sonic connection. With an ear that allows him to tune things to the most healing, powerful, and soothing that they can be, I am excited to hear what he has to offer! Then Saturday morning, he will be part of the team holistically cleansing us with sacred vibrations. With so many opportunities to experience what Ben has to offer, come on out and feel those magical vibrations at Luminosity!
Ben Towers AKA Metaphysical was raised in the beautiful PNW. My love and passion is deeply connected with vibrational arts, therapy sound, alchemical creations, producing music without borders, and a conduit of all global musical genres. For the better part of two decades, I have traveled all around the west coast playing and attending festivals, intimate venues, gatherings, clubs, Ecstatic Dance, and as a resident DJ on C89.5fm’ The Over Drive show. In all these settings, I have seen and felt the power of vibrational medicine. It has been my desire to bring these Indigenous analog instruments and digital technology into the same space, to dance in harmony, and create a universal container for healing.
This last year has been amazing! The universal power of manifestation has brought me powerful and captivating instruments, from all over the world, and I'm really excited to share these calming, tranquil, and healing sounds with you!

Frequencies and Sound have been used for thousands of years by our ancient ancestors. It reacts with our physical body down to the cellular level and realigns our energetic bio-fields.

It’s with honor and pleasure to introduce a true Tremulant family member, a solid being and artist.
Shaun has been around since the inception of this thing we call electronic music. He has been collecting and playing records for years. And this depth in his crate translates to eclectic sets full of incredibly tasteful and consistent sounds. He has well surpassed the 10,000 hour mark, so you can trust that his mixing is absolutely on point. Music is only just a facet of this wonderful human. He is as much of a pleasure (if not more) to be with in person and we look forward to having him as a part of the weekend as a WHOLE! As a Tremulant favorite, come out and hear an underground staple in our scene!
Shaun Whitcher has been involved in the electronic music scene since 1993 and started DJing shortly after in 1995. Working at Platinum Records Seattle (2000-2003) connected Shaun with other artists and promotors and was involved with several events at NAF Studios, Club FX, underground afterhours and various clubs, and a weekly radio show residency on Seattle’s Groovetech Internet Radio. In 2003, Shaun left Platinum Records to work for Rane Corporation as their Technical DJ Expert and in 2004 helped launch Serato’s Scratch Live DJ program. From 2004-2014, Shaun spearheaded Rane’s evolvement in Seattle’s legendary Decibel Festival. In 2015, Shaun was crucial to the design of Rane’s infamous MP2015 rotary DJ mixer. Fast forward 8 years to now, almost 30 years since his first rave, and you’ll find Shaun doing what he loves, dancing to house and techno music, promoting events, or behind the decks playing!

Jessica, known as Lucky Cheese, is a Seattle-based DJ who infuses the local music scene with a boundless passion for the underground. Through volunteering, event participation, and amplifying talented artists, she embraces the raw spirit that defines her city. Influenced by luminaries like Julie Herrera, Kadeejah Streets, and Wesley Holmes, Lucky Cheese weaves a sonic tapestry fueled by intention and heart, drawing from her culturally diverse roots in Chile and Washington. Her eclectic music taste, shaped by Latin Rock, Hip Hop, R&B, Synthpop and more, led her to discover her true calling at music festivals and underground shows, igniting a love affair with techno, house, and subgenres. Lucky Cheese's sets feature soul, funk, and leftfield beats, merging tech house, Afro house, and deep house to create dynamic and immersive experiences for her audience. Her range extends to Techno, blending acid, Detroit, minimal, and dub styles. Beyond the turntables, she envisions her music journey aligned with values of equity, community, relationships, and curiosity, aiming to unite diverse communities through transformative musical experiences.
