It seems crazy that we’re now able to share photos from weddings that we did five or more years ago! Ashley and Luke’s wedding definitely helped us discover how much we love romantic and airy styled weddings, which is something that has not changed no matter how many other things we have learned in the last five years! Hi, we’re Mary and Joy of Simply Sacred Events, and we’re about due for an introduction! We are a wedding planning company dedicated to planning and coordination of Catholic weddings and events! We are local to Indianapolis, but we serve the Midwest with an emphasis on Indy, Chicago, and Cincinnati. We’ve been in official business for six years with backgrounds in restaurant management, conference planning, and church coordination between the two of us. We’re also co-founders of The Catholic Bridal Collective, and we love pretty much anything to do with weddings!

Our favorite churches are St. Mary of the Angels (Mary) and St. John Cantius (Joy) in Chicago, and our favorite venues are Laurel Hall (Mary) and the Carmel Palladium (Joy). Some of our favorite wedding details are custom cocktail napkins, local cuisine for late night snacks, and anything French or Italian inspired in decor!

The Holy Spirit Center Chapel, and St. Monica & George! Two beautiful churches we were able to visit this summer in Cincinnati. Cincinnati, Chicago, and Indianapolis are our current three favorite wedding cities, but we’re always eager to work somewhere new!
