We appreciate everyone’s feedback from our previous post, so thank you for that! Moving forward these will be our updated hours and once school is in full gear we expect to start opening up in some capacity on Sundays, but for now Tuesday-Saturday will have to do. You may slowly see some changes on the menu as we try to navigate product and its availability. We look forward to serving you all!

We’re taking a couple extra days off this week to figure some things out moving forward. Times have been tough for not only us but most of the small business restaurant owners in Dixon. We depend so much on the community and we need your help to survive to be honest or pretty soon you’ll start seeing us get taken out one by one. We understand it’s summer and it’s hot, most families are out of town on vacation before they have to get back for school. But this isn’t just a summer thing, talking to several business owners in town it’s been going on for quite some time now. So if you are going out to eat please consider staying local and helping us all out because we love serving you all and love this little town of Dixon

Let me begin by saying how much I love this little town of Dixon and the people within it. Being able to take over such an iconic spot as Frosty’s in the middle of a pandemic in August 2020 was a dream come true. I think it was what everyone needed, something to brighten their day in a dark time. As we pivoted the past 3 years to try to make things work with rising food costs (that are still not back down to pre pandemic but actually higher), rising labor costs, rising utilities, you get the point. We unfortunately have gotten to a point where business just isn’t picking up and we’ve seen a drop considerably. Cutting our business hours, employees hours, and having to figure out many different supply issues has gotten us to this point. We have rolled out breakfast that was great for the first week but sadly since then the last two months just haven’t worked out. We will no longer be serving breakfast and we have made the decision to cut business hours for at least the winter. Closing Frosty’s Sunday and Monday’s for now makes the most sense. So starting today we will only be open Tuesday-Saturday 1030am-6pm. I hope you can all understand and come support through these harder times. Thank you for your understanding.

Don’t forget that we’re serving breakfast Tuesday thru Friday 7am-1030. We would like to add a couple more items to the menu, we’re hoping that will get more people down to Frosty’s for breakfast.
