I’m booking a smalllll handful of *final* weddings for 2024! It’s absolutely wild to announce this out loud, but I will not be taking weddings for 2025. Between now being a mom to my sweet Charli girl & doing BTS work for Tapestry Coffee, I have decided to retire wedding photography after the last 10+ years of shooting them. As of now, I plan to have some mini sessions here & there, but you’ll more regularly find me working over at our coffee shop!

I’m hoping to fill a small handful more dates for 2024 and am offering an insane discount for weddings booked by the end of March. I’m also giving away 2 mini sessions to be shot this year if you share this post! 💖 Inquire via my site or DM for availability & pricing info.

Hi friends!

As many of you may have heard or seen on instagram, I am taking a major step back from photography and slowing down on photography as my full time career. Last June, my husband and I purchased a coffee shop in downtown Lakeville. It's been an amazing challenge, and more hours than I ever truthfully thought I could work doing something other than photo. I announced in September that I will solely be shooting weddings, and a very limited amount of them. I wanted to offer some mini sessions one last time!

Choose between January 15th and 28th at a studio in downtown Lakeville. $199, 20 minute sessions, 25+ images. I am offering signups as "pre bookings" where you will select your date and time, and pending I get enough interest, I will send a contract to officially book. Slot sign ups are closing this Sunday, December 11th. If there is enough interest, details + contracts will go out by Monday for official booking. At that point, your full payment is due to hold your slot. Please note bookings are non-refundable. No slots are officially booked until contract and payment are received.

When I started photography at the young age of 14, I never knew how big of a part it would play in my life. I never would have imagined I would have the honor of shooting hundreds of weddings, and even more family, maternity, headshots, baby announcements, lifestyle shoots, etc. Photography has supported me through high school, college, getting married, being able to support my husband while he got his masters degree, and our biggest adventure yet — starting a coffee shop. Through the many seasons of the business, from the years of shooting way too many hours of mini sessions, to solely shooting weddings, to the associate team and adding my husband (video) to the offerings, it has truly been the best.

In the past year of owning I have found myself really struggling to keep up with everything. Between working behind the bar, doing social media & managing employees, Tapestry has become a full time PLUS job. Shooting weddings on the weekends has filled my entire week with work. I am not exaggerating when I say some weeks, I work around 80-100 hours total between this + Tapestry.

At this time I have made a very hard decision to take a step back from photography. I still have weddings booked through 2024 and will be taking a small handful more, but I am officially ONLY going to be shooting a select amount of weddings. Our minimum for photo + video will be going up, and we will only be taking on 2-5 more for 2023 & 2024.

I know this announcement will come as a surprise to many and please know that if you are currently booked with me, NOTHING is changing. In fact, holding off on other bookings & slowing down will only benefit your experience with me. I cannot wait to have shooting weddings be a change up & total treat from slinging lattes each day! ❤️

I cannot thank everyone enough for their support. It feels absolutely surreal to be announcing this, its such a bittersweet feeling. Thank you for your support. Thank you thank you thank.
