I'm excited to announce that I have partnered with The Riff to host a 90s Themed Trivia night on August 30, 2024! I will also be MCing a few events here and there as well in the future (Era themed dance parties were discussed, as well as a silent disco. Definitely NO karaoke! Iykyk 🤣). This weekend will be my final weekend at Friend's Karaoke Pub (Absolutely zero bad blood between the bar and myself. This was a decision that was talked about and, honestly, a long time coming). I'm working Friday AND Saturday this weekend so everyone has a chance to come in and say goodbye (I will still be on-air with Q102 for my show 240 Minutes w/ Fish & Caleb).
This final retirement (yes, I "retired" once before) is a bittersweet one. I have really enjoy all of the people I've worked with over the years, whether at Friend's or Bugsys, but I'm going on 16 years as a KJ, and honestly, it was about 11 years too long. Thank you to everyone who has made my time memorable. I will always remember the positive people who made all of the horrible people worth the stress. So come out either Friday or Saturday (or both) to be part of my retirement party. Thanks goes out to Mark Schwien and Teresa Irwin Chism for welcoming me into their work family, and for treating me like your real family. Thanks to Ross Kittleman for helping me grow as an entertainer and KJ. Thank you to Wayna Dean for giving me the opportunity to learn how to KJ. I most likely would never have gotten into DJing if it weren't for her. Thank you to every person who wished me well, while I was out with health problems. Thank you to everyone who came up at some point to tell me "hi" or let me know that they appreciate what I do. Your words and actions did not go unnoticed or unappreciated.
I hope to see as many people as can make it this weekend! I wish you all well!

Some of you already know, but for those who don't, I was diagnosed with Type II Diabetes back mid-March. With diet and meds, I have it under control, but the side effects of the meds kept me home for more days and weekends than I would have liked. Good news is the side effects have lessened, and I hope to be DJing at Friend's Karaoke Pub on a more regular basis (every Friday and Saturday night). Come out and see me tonight!
